A little of both

Ash decided to head back home, so he rewound everyone...except Jasmine. He would leave her as a Pinsir for a bit.

"Ash!" Misty yelled. "Please return your Pinsir!"

"Oh, relax," Ash said, giving Jasmine's head a pat. "She won't bother you. Right Pinsir?"

"Pinsir!" Jasmine nodded.

The group continued on to Pallet Town, with Jasmine the Pinsir now in the very back of the group and Misty up front with Ash.
