After returning back to the old man's place and nursing her main body back to health all the way until morning, Konan finally was able to receive her gift. "Heh...~ To think...this all started with me finding that Jutsu from Ino's clan~" She chuckled to herself. "I'd still be a goner if I were to approach them...or anyone outside of this section of the village. I'm technically labeled a criminal." She twirled a piece of her hair as she looked out at the bright sky. "Mmm.....It's been quite a bit since "I" infiltrated the village on the hunt for the Nine-tailed beast...Haa..."

She then found something interesting in that line of thought. "...Speaking of the Nine-Tails...he's been strangely quiet, actually." She found herself puzzled at that, seeing as how her original body was now just an empty vessel, she now found it strange that the Nine-Tails hasn't just went and taken it over to cause chaos and destruction. "I wonder what the big deal is with that one...my clone still hasn't reported anything strange and she's managed to shoo anyone thus far... or even replicating my original body and going out as "me"...well...the actual me. At least that's good news." She continued on.

"Still...now that I think about it...it's only a matter of time now before Nagato might start trying to contact "me" and checking up on my progress like the worrywart he is...hehe...~" She smiled at the thought before shaking her head gently. "He always was the most emotional of the three of us..." She then had a small moment of realization at what she just said. "Ah...sometimes I forget which memories are mine and which ones aren't, guess the longer I stay in here the more my memories and "my" memories become one and the same. Though I guess it doesn't matter, in the end, I'm still me..." Konan sat up to have a better view of the outside.

"What a nice day...I wonder though...how long will this "peace" last...I know what Nagato's version of "peace" involves...and now that I'm in charge of...everything concerning Konan's memories and emotions...I can't say I agree with it...can I change his mind...?" Konan wondered to herself, her face a mixture of confusion and a growing determination. "If....If I change his mind...if I can make him see that there's a better way for peace..." Her face lit up at the possibilities. "If...we could get back on track and follow the path Yahiko wanted us to follow...could we...." She bit her lip. 'Could we possibly...go back to those days...? Those days before we were set up...before we were betrayed...when the purpose of the Akatsuki....was to bring actual peace through less violent means...?' She thought long and hard at this.

After a bit, she clenched her fist as a look of steely resolution overtook her. "That's it...I NEED to convince Nagato to change his outlook on life...on "peace"...to see things differently!" She then cracked a grin. "...Too long....far too long have we both been casted into the shadows, the darkness being **** upon our hearts...if my plan works...maybe...just maybe...we can start to take back the light we lost so long ago." Soon though, her grin disappeared as she calmed herself down, appearing more neutral once again.

"Still...there's a number of obstacles in the way...with two main problems...unfortunately..." She grit her teeth, feeling anger welling up inside of her. "...First and foremost...Madara Uchiha...That manipulative bastard...Tch..." She clicked her tongue as she remembered the man that helped give the Akatsuki it's more renown makeover into a mercenary organization. "...Despite my preparations in the Hidden Rain and observing him from afar for years...can I really kill him on my own...? Thinking about it more now...maybe not...especially with that Sharingan of his...thankfully, Nagato doesn't trust him much anymore...so maybe...if this works..." Konan sighed again as she wracked her brains around this issue. "Regardless, the rest of the Akatsuki are also the next main problem...each are powerful in their own right as well, so handling them would be somewhat difficult, especially if they're together...but maybe...we could use them to our advantage as well...if we can pit them against Madara...that would certainly be wonderful...but who and how could they be turned against Madara...?" Konan continued to formulate a plan.

"Itachi...? Maybe...though neither me nor Nagato are close to him all that much...I'm sure there's something we can use to convince him though...Hidan would also be a useful asset...pegging Madara up to be the ultimate sacrifice to his god would certainly help, not to mention his immortality and his sadistic desire to kill....Kakuzu...offer a lot of money...yeah, that'll be fine....Sasori, I'm sure I can entice him by offering him Madara's body as well to become his ultimate puppet...well...not that I would allow for that in the event he still lives after Madara falls... Kisame next... maybe if we convince Itachi, we can get Kisame as well... Zetsu is a no go...he's with Madara after all... Deidara... that one... not quite sure... But, if we can divide and weaken the rest of the Akatsuki while killing off Madara...then finish the remainder of the Akatsuki off...or convince them to change as well by any means necessary, as miniscule as that could be..." Konan looked at the mirror for a moment as she turned away from looking outside now.

"...We can start fresh...wipe away the sins...and atone...it might take an extremely long while...but this...this has the potential to work...I just need to be the one...to start this change..." Konan looked out again, her eyes glimmering with hope as she smiled brightly.

"Until then...I suppose I should enjoy the time I have left here, and I have a lot of things I'd like to do and enjoy before I have to start making my moves forward~" She hummed quietly, her thoughts now brewing with a desire to have as much fun as possible before she starts her own plans.
