A little angry

"Look, I don't know who you are or what kind of joke you think this is, but it needs to stop. John is going to be in a lot of trouble for putting you up to this and telling you what you he did," Allison says coldly.

She didn't believe you. You couldn't believe Allison didn't believe you. You ran your hands through your hair, exasperated. "Aha! Two months ago you wanted to see what I looked like as a girl. So I shaved my face, and then you dressed me up! But you had a hard time because,meek because I was having a hard time. I couldn't wear anything without getting a boner!"

Allison stared at you, carefully thinking over all that you had told her. "Where did we go on our first date?" she asks skeptically.

"Bombastic Bowling," you reply immediately. "You beat me 175-162."

"What did you get me for my last birthday?"

You blushed. You had been especially short on cash then and all you could afford was a promise ring out of a claw machine, which you managed to win. "I got you a ring," you say trying to make it sound better than you felt about it.

"What did you tell me when you gave me the ring?"

"I promised that I'd get something better."

"What did I say?"

"You said that I was enough."

There was more quiet contemplation.
