A lecture

“Anna, you know my rules. You know they exist for a reason,” Madam Gauthier said.

Anna nodded looking down in shame. “Yes, Madam Gauthier.”

“The next time I catch you breaking my rules, you’ll see the full extent of my wrath. Today was only a warning.”

Anna nodded. “Yes, Madam Gauthier. I understand.”

“You’ll have to explain to your mother what happened to your leotard,” Madam Gauthier said as her stern looked turned into a devilish smile.

Anna gulped. Her mother wasn’t exactly merciful. “Y-yes, I will.”

“I want you to hand her this envelope,” Madam Gauthier said. “It must be delivered unopened. Open that letter or fail to deliver it to your mother, and you will regret doing so immediately.”

Anna nodded. “Yes, Madam Gauthier,” she said as she took the letter in hand.

Anna was dismissed and she dashed out of the studio.
