A late-night walk

We walked around the lake to the other side, so that we could see the lights off the restaurants in front of us.

“Drive me to water will you?” I asked.

“What are you going to do?”

“You see,” I said, keeping my answer vague.

Lila pushed me to the edge of the lake. I picked up a rock.

“Here, watch,” I said, and threw the rock at the lake, with the power of my mind I let the rock skip over the surface of the water.

“Wow,” Lila said in surprise. “I never knew you could do that.”

“Cool right, now you try.”

“Oh no, I can’t do that.” Lila said.

“Of course you can I say, let me help you. Choose a rock.”

Lila picked up a rock. I took her arm and gently showed her the movement by steering her arm and pols in the right direction.

“Just like that,” I said. “Now try.”

Lila stood up straight and threw the stone onto the lake. It was a hard time catching the stone with my mindpowers now Lila had thrown it. The stone went underwater for a second before I could pull it up and let it skip three times.

“You did it,” I yelled.

“Yes, that was amazing. I have never done that before.” Lila laughed and wanted to pick up another stone. I quickly put the sleeve of her long dress under her foot, so she would fall over her dress. As she did, I pushed my wheelchair forward so I could catch her in her fall right on time. And there she sat, on my lap. In a beautiful red dress, on a late spring evening. We looked into each other eyes for a moment... A silence, then I kissed her. Our lips touched and our arms closed around each other. Slowly our tongs made their way into each other's mouths. My arms moved over her back to her front and I placed one hand on her breast.
