A knight in armour

Shifting his helmet, he swung his heavily armoured body up into the saddle of his horse, and rode off, his sword buckled at his hip and his lance set in its resting spot in the saddle. The sound of his horse's hooves clopping on the dusty road put him into a kind of stupor, and he rode over several miles of road in this state; however, he woke up when he saw a beautiful brown-haired maiden being attacked by a man. He then took a moment to decide on the best course of action.
