"That is opposite to Hrimgnnr reproduction. After we molt, we split into two identical selves, fully developed and functional and with the shared memory of the Hrim's history. "Our crew lost most of its male complement during an incident in space," I explained.

The Hrimgnnr hesistated, "I do not wish to cause trouble for you, my friends. If it is a serious offence I shall keep my curiosity in check."

"It's alright, Rolo, friends do this together," Jenny said.

"Have you three done this together?" Rolo asked. We all looked at each other again.

This time we turned back to Rolo and nodded, "Yes."

"Then I shall partake as well..." the Hrim states as it slithered up to the engineer's petite naked body. Rolo paused, "Is it alright if I touched?" Jenny smiled and nodded. Rolo's colors went vibrant green as its tentacle brushed along Jenny's arm. It slithered over her shoulder and onto her chest, "This area is much softer..."

"Mhmm...." Jenny smiled as she watched the appendage spiral around her round breast.

"It's where the milk is kept to feed the baby once it is born," Kari pointed out.

"A food sac! How novel!" Rolo said. Its probing increased with more tentacles. They gathered around the ensign, covering her form until it looked like she was covered with moving snakes.
