A half-brother of the Black Canary

John Doe, the offspring of Lawrence Lance and his former partner, finds himself as the half-sibling of Dinah Laurel Lance, the current Black Canary, finds himself waking from a perplexing dream. Confusion grips him; was he drunk or could it be a sign of some latent ability within him?

John rarely drinks, yet his friend Ethan persists in inviting him out to bars, eager to test his **** tolerance. Meanwhile, his friend Ryan merely shakes his head at their antics. With a tired sigh, John rises from bed and makes his way to the bathroom to freshen up. Dressed in casual attire, he heads to the kitchen of his new home.

John finds himself endowed with an inexplicable power over his family, a power he struggles to comprehend.
