A guest

Candace was incensed at her best friend Tessa snubbing her from the bridal party after having promised making her the maid of honor since high school.

"What's that all about?" she asked her, fuming.

"Well..." Tessa tried to put things delicately, "your habit of attire... wouldn't be a good fit for the aesthetic."

Candace was taken aback by this boldness, of how bad a friend Tessa was being, and of the gall she had to still invite her to her wedding.

"What a bitch!" she complained to her plus-one David.
