A gathering

You arrive at the location of the so called ‘Hybrid Club’ meeting, a building usually used for small events in the city. Lili is bouncing excitedly in her seat as you find a parking space, and even Emi is smiling, though she’s more reserved than the excitable harpy. Emi is disguised in the usual fashion, with her tail tucked into her pants and a hat hiding her ears. You imagine that Lili will draw all the attention anyway, considering the harpy has decided to wear shorts that barely cover her and a cropped shirt that exposes her entire stomach.

You see several people heading inside, accompanied by Hybrids as well, and you’re a bit surprised to see the number of people here. You expected a small group, but it seems like theres at least twenty people here with their Hybrids. As the three of you get out of the car, you hear a familiar voice.

“Oh, hey, Andy! You decided to come!”

You turn to see Jane approaching, a big smile on her face. Following her closely is a giant of a man, head and shoulders taller than her. A pair of horns curl up from his head, and a pair of large, floppy ears emerge from beneath his hair. You realize that this is Sean, her Hybrid companion, and you stare for just a moment. You hadn’t realized just how big he was, but seeing him in person really makes it clear. He stands protectively close behind Jane, who is looking at Lili appraisingly as well.

She turns to you with a smile. “It looks like you picked out a real beauty! And so exotic, too. And who is this?”

Emi steps forward and offers a hand. “I’m Emi, Andy’s girlfriend. I moved in recently.”

Jane laughs. “Nice to meet you! Andy never mentioned you before, but we don’t really talk about our home life much.”

You shrug. “Yeah, we didn’t have much to say before the Hybrids showed up.”

Lili giggles. “Now you lots of stories, yes-yes! And lots of fun-fun! We do lots of things, yes-yes!”

You blush, and Jane laughs. “I can’t disagree. Sean and I are the same way.”

The massive bull man simply grunts, crossing his arms. Jane rolls her eyes. “Don’t mind him, he’s being a show off. He likes to act tough, but he’s just a softie at heart, isn’t that right?”

Sean sighs, but his expression softens, a smile curling the corners of his mouth. “Yes, mistress.”

You raise an eyebrow. “So it’s ‘mistress’, is it?”

Now it’s her turn to blush. “Shut up! Look, I like it. And he likes it too. You know I treat him well.”

Sean nods, but doesn’t say anything, though he’s still smiling. You chuckle. “Whatever works! It felt weird to have Lili call me master, so I asked her not to.”

Lili nods, leaning against you. “Yes-yes! Andy is so nice-nice to me! And Emi too! We’re a happy-happy family!”

Jane laughs. “That’s good to hear. We don’t allow people who **** their Hybrids here. Speaking of being here, we should head in, rather than just hanging out in the parking lot. Come on, I’ll introduce you to the important people.”

She heads towards the door, followed closely by Sean. You follow her, with Emi and Lili holding hands with you. You head inside, and see a gathering of people and Hybrids of many varieties, all chatting amongst themselves. You never expected to see something like this, but here you are.
