A full immersion headset

Juno plugged in their headset, and set the game to download. A small external screen indicated the download progress, and it looked like it'll only take a few minutes. Juno wasn't too experienced with immersing their consciousness in the digital world and having basically no connection to their physical body, but it fortunately doesn't tend to come with massive files to download or long waits to install.

They make sure to use the toilet, have a small snack, and have a few sips of water just in case, before returning to the headset. The little screen had the logo to the game with the words "install complete!" below it, so Juno lied down on their bed and put the headset on, and the still novel feeling of losing connection to their body began.

It was like even the sensation of numbness was a sensation that they lost, before a slight falling sensation filled their head until their vision lit up with the loading screen. Juno began feeling like their feet were on solid ground as they looked around, the area being a deep blue void-like space except for the large screen with an image of some kind of nursery.

The loading was complete soon enough, and the screen morphed into a door. A window appears in front of it with disclaimers that indicate all users must be 18 or older, and that this was indeed an infantilism game for people who enjoy childish behaviors and aesthetics for reasons that may be sexual or nonsexual, but that even those who exclusively play in non-sexual servers must still be adults, which Juno found interesting.

Nothing very surprising was in the disclaimers, so Juno closed the windows and walked through the door.
