Alexa was dressed up in the nicest clothes she had ever worn. She hadn’t talked to anyone within the company as instructed. They had sat down with lawyers and talked about what happened. Alexa even disclosed her need for diapers which Carol clarified was for medicinal purposes.
They recommended going the approach of ignorance where they would pinpoint the exact reason Alexa was fired in the court room.
So with that Michelle, Carol, Diane, and Alexa all gathered in their best power suits and made their way to the courthouse.
Alexa was surprised to see Devon standing outside. “Hey, Devon,” Michelle said.
“Hey, Michelle,” Devon said.
Devon and Michelle had met up and explained the circumstance. Devon agreed on a mutual relationship where the two would share Alexa. Devon was also disturbed when he learned of the events that had transpired. “I’m glad you could make it,” Michelle said.
“Well, I do need to be a supportive partner,” Devon said.
“Let’s go inside,” Diane said.
They all nodded and headed into the courtroom. Waiting was Mr Yawena and a team of lawyers as well as people from the company. Alexa tensed up. But Michelle squeezed her hand. Alexa relaxed a bit as the trial began.
