Malamar made his way out onto the streets. Thankfully due to the Royale, they were fairly barren. Mostly everyone was in one of the battle zones.
So he floated around just outside of one of these zones, scoping out his prey.
That's when a familiar face appeared. A young woman with red hair tied up in a side-tail was retreating out of the zone.
"Ugh! Some of these battles are intense" she huffed, as she pulled out her Pokeballs.
"Sorry guys. I'll get you patched up in no time" she declared as she began to walk towards a Pokemon center.
Malamar pulled out his Trainer Dex again.

- this trainer has previously been hypnotized by the psychic Pokemon, Hypno. The mischievous Pokemon had entranced her into believing she was a Seel.
A small video clip of some security footage appeared showing Misty running down a street, clapping her hands and loudly chanting "Seel! Seel!"
"Perfect" Malamar thought to himself.
