Chapter 4 by IndiSmut IndiSmut

What's next?

A facehugger!?

Alina gasped and recoiled away from the sofa in surprise at seeing the strange creature inside the glass box. In all her life she had never seen or heard of any organism like it.

The stingray-shaped, 6-legged creature seemed dazed, almost as if woken up from its slumber, shaking and looking around in its chamber, trying to clamber to its feet. Alina, still apprehensive but curious observed it closely, but couldn't see anything that looked like eyes on the creature. However, it soon turned it's attention towards her.

Alina screamed and fell backwards, as the creature suddenly jumped, thumping against the side of its container loudly. The more concerning fact were the cracks that spread across like a lightning arc on the point of impact; the flimsy box wasn't going to hold.

She scrambled to her feet trying to get away, adrenaline pumping through her veins. The creature didn't seem to be friendly. She quickly ran out of the living room, when she heard another loud thump followed by a dreadful sound of glass shattering. Her feet, as if possessed quickly carried her to the front door, trying to get away from the nightmarish, alien creature. But it was too late...

As her hand was mere inches away from the doorknob on her front door, she felt something thin wrap around her neck; it was the creature's tail, followed by the rest of its body which swung around in front of her face. Alina tried to scream as she fell backwards, but the creature grabbed her head with its legs, hugging itself close and forcing its proboscis inside her mouth which had opened in surprise.

Alina, her mind reeling in confusion and fear, desperately tried to get it away from her, her hands clawing away at it, but the creature just seemed to be tightening its grip more and more in response. Alina gagged as she felt its slimy proboscis **** itself down her throat, the contents of her stomach threatening to upchuck at the disgust she felt.

Her struggles died down soon however, as she started feeling lightheaded. The creature was emanating an anesthetic pheromone, causing her to lose consciousness. She suddenly felt very peaceful, her mind settling into a deep sleep. It would be the most peaceful sleep she ever had since her husband's untimely passing.

Alina always had trouble sleeping, ever since the accident that took away her beloved. Her nightmares were haunted by the incident, unable to move on despite whatever she tried in her waking hours to get away and try to move on, sleep would always bring up the horrifying visions of her husband's contorted body.

The worse aspect of her dreams however, were the visions of her child. She was 4 months pregnant at the time of the incident. The emotional and mental trauma that resulted from it would cause her to later have a miscarriage. The two shining beacons of hope in her life had been snuffed out in a blink.

The now middle-aged woman, no matter how hard she tried, couldn't move on, and the grief consumed her. No amount of sleep medication would stop the nightmares, and countless sleepless nights had taken a toll on her body and health.

However, the dream Alina saw now was different, very different from the terrifying nightmares that had consumed almost more than a decade of her life. She seemed to be lying in a hospital bed. The room featureless and strangely empty looking, and not a sound to be heard around. The door to her right suddenly opened, and her husband entered looking as young and sharp as the day she had first met him.

Alina's breath caught in her throat, she tried to sit up and speak but couldn't seem to open her mouth no matter how she tried. "Shhh, shhh. It's okay, honey.", her husband shushed her lovingly, encouraging her to lay back down, "The doctor said it's best to not push yourself too much right now. The delivery must have been quite exhausting for you."

Delivery? Alina blinked in surprise, her attention was suddenly drawn to what her husband seemed to be cradling in his hands. It was a baby; her baby. Wrapped up in a tiny blanket it was the most adorable and beautiful thing she'd ever seen.

Her husband handed it to her carefully, Alina's eyes teared up at seeing the beautiful little angel in her arms. Even though it seemed she wasn't quite human, the baby had inky black bones protruding around its body, forming a mesoskeleton of sorts. However, its face still looked distinctly human, albeit with a bit more sharper features. Alina could also feel a tiny tail swishing about under the wraps around her baby.

One part of her mind felt horrified at the weird alien monster baby, but it was quickly silenced and discarded by a motherly part of her brain. She suddenly didn't seem to be worried about what her baby looked like, as long as she could hold it close and never let go again. She hugged her child close to her chest, moving up the hospital gown, exposing her breasts to feed the infant.

Alina could feel the tiny lips of her angel latching on her nipple, and she sighed in contentment as her baby nursed away happily. Her mind however seemed to wander, thinking through horrible scenarios of what would the world think of her baby. "It would treat her like a freak!" she thought.

No, she won't let anyone hurt her baby, NEVER. She felt anger boil up inside her at the mere thought of someone doing so. She suddenly felt a rippling sensation pass over her body, as she sees the same inky black bony shell gradually grow over her arms and legs, a prehensile tail sprouting, and snaking its way out of her gown. Her breasts also seemed to grow, and she felt a suspiciously heavy bulge growing in the front of her groin.

Now, Alina would be the same as her daughter, and no one would treat her like a freak. She won't let anyone. She turned her head to her beloved sitting beside her, still smiling warmly at his wife, and grabbed his hand with her own clawed one.

"Yes, now it's all gonna be alright." Her husband said, as if reading her thoughts. He leaned in to kiss her. Alina woke up with a start as she broke away from the kiss.

She found herself still lying in the hallway, however, it seemed to be dark outside now. She looked around dazed and groggy. She came face to face with the weird creature that she had received in the package, the horrifying memories flooding back causing her to flinch away in fear. However, the creature was now motionless lying on its back; lifeless.

What has happened to Alina?
