A double-edged sword

"I found some of your old pajamas that you used to love so much!" Lauren's mother said as she pulled out the article of clothing from behind her back.

Lauren's jaw dropped as she saw what her mother was holding. It was her pajamas from her childhood! A pastel pink set of footie-pajamas with a zipper in the front, a butt flap on the back with a white ball of fluff right above it, and a hood with rabbit ears that made the wearer look like a bunny! Lauren blushed crimson at the sight of it.

"Mom!" Lauren whined, "Why would you think that would help? I can't wear that!"

"Well, if you want to continue to run around naked in front of your step-father and his friends..."

"No wait!" Lauren said. Was she really considering this? She hadn't worn those pajamas since she was twelve, and she had know idea if it would even fit her or not. A part of her secretly hoped it wouldn't though; to be an adult woman running around in kids pajamas was one thing, but to be an adult woman running around in kids pajamas that fit?!

On the other hand, Lauren knew that she couldn't just run around naked. And with her step-father and his friends out in the backyard... Those were the last people she wanted to see her naked body!

Lauren bit her lip as she let out a sigh, finally making her choice. "I'll take the pajamas..."
