Chapter 92 by carnivorous cow
Now, how to get past these guards?
A distraction.
Druuna had always told Janette that it was important to be able to use whatever that was at hand as a tool. After some thought, Janette pulled the half empty bottle of **** from her pocket and twisted the cork out of its neck. Janette whetted her lips with a quick sip from the bottle, then softly blew over the top of the bottle, making a deep, low sound. Through the mirror she could see one of the spearmen stand up and walk towards her hiding spot to investigate.
As the shabby albino creature came within striking range she reached out with one hand and knocked the creature down. With a surprised growl the creature fell onto the floor, where Janette was ready with her dagger. With a quick thrust she jammed the blade deep into the monsters throat.
The other two guards heard the commotion and came running. Janette ripped the spear from the dead albinos **** grip and slammed the pointed tip into the other spearman's belly as it turned the corner. The knife armed monster erupted from around the corner with both blades at the ready. With a loud war cry Janette ducked down below the tall creatures blades and thrust her dagger forward, into the monsters stomach and upward.
With the three guards dispatched, Janette collapsed to the ground, panting with effort. She knew she couldn't rest long, she had to keep moving, lest she lose the trail AND Druuna. Pocketing her mirror, one of the dead creatures knifes and a few of the rags the cave people wore as loincloths (she noted with some amusement that they had particularly large members (then she shook her head in disgust and muttered about Druuna's bad influence on her)) and moved onwards, down the stairs.
What else stands in her way?
