A decent challenge

What followed, was the gym leader taking care to give a decent challenge for her young opponent. Easier said than done with this being the first opponent of the day, but Misty managed. Even if it was a victory on her part.

"You did good." she cooed and watched the little girl perk up. Giving a nod right after, she made her exit. But not before giving a wave in Misty's direction.

In turn, Misty waved back.

"Phew." she thought and calmed her mind. While there were likely challengers waiting, she needed a moment to rest and recuperate.
