A dark, dank tunnel.

When Elyn comes too she fins herself in a place so dark she can barely see. Her hands and feet are secured to the wall spread-eagle by some sort of glue, and stuggling is no use. After a long while her eyes adjust to the darkness enough for her to see that she's in a long narrow chamber. A little while later she realises she can make out the shapes of several other girls stuck to the walls around her

Eventually after what feels like hours several of the huge blackish bugs scuttle up, lighting up the tunnel in a sickly blue glow from previously-unseen bio-luminescent patches on their flanks. One of them scuttles up to each of the girls, and Elyn is shocked when one of the hideous creatures sticks its face infront of her. She tries to jerk away, but her muscles refuse to obey and she lays still.

The worker insect gently presses it's mandibles between her teeth, pulling them apart enough for a thick tube to slip into her mouth. Elyn felt it push into her esophagus, but strangely she felt a gag reflex for only the barest second before it went away. She can feel a thick liquid being pumped through the tube directly into her stomach, and she realizes that the creature is feeding her! What nefarious purpose could the giant vermin want to keep a young elf alive for?!

Eventually the worker bug withdraws it's feeding tube from Elyn's throat, letting her gasp and spudder weakly. As the workers withdraw two of them stop to chew at one of the paralyzed elf-girls bounds. Our heroine can barely see in the dark, but she watches as the limp girl is carried off by the vile monsters.
