A couple who take her to the police station

"She's not being communicative," the woman's partner told her in a concerned voice.

"Oh my, I think we need to take her to the police station," the woman concluded with the man before turning to Cassie, who still hadn't mustered the courage to speak, "it's okay sweetie, we'll get you help."

Cassie blushed at being called "sweetie", but accepted the woman's help as she placed her hands on the small of Cassie's back and led her out of the theater. Cassie noticed that neither the woman nor her partner had any jackets for her to wear, and the man was not reaching for his shirt. Still, she thought better of asking for anything in her current state, grateful that she couldn't see the townsfolk staring at her with her blurry vision.

Eventually, the three made it to the police station, where Cassie was relieved to be able to explain her side of the story.
