A clothing run

With your survival supplies set for quite some time, you turn your mind towards something a little more frivolous. One of the biggest complaints from your female residents is the lack of clothes. Some, like Gabriella and the soldiers, only have a handul of outfits, while others just want an update in wardrobe. It would be nice to see some of your girls in new outfits, so you decide to get some. During your Team Leader meeting, you inform Mills, Jeremy, and Foreman, "Today, we are going to do things a little differently. We are going to work in two squads today, one with all the males and the other with all the females. Jeremy, you take the guys and secure the wall and help in construction." He nods. "I will lead the other squad. Before we head out, I want you girls to write down the sizes and preferences for clothes for the girls that aren't going. We are going on a shopping trip."

Word spreads fast, and an electric feeling overtakes the building as girls put in their orders for clothes and makeup and accessories. Just because they've gotten used to the apocalypse life doesn't mean they don't miss some of the luxuries of the old times. By the time all the orders are taken, it's almost ten. Your team finally assembles, and you grab Jeremy's SUV and head out towards a local mall. It's fairly small, and with all the stores closed down, easy to focus on only the stores you actually want to enter. With the place secure, the girls start going wild, grabbing shopping carts and filling them with as much clothes as they can fit.

Wandering around, you go into the back of one of the rooms and find a loading dock with a medium sized box truck, bigger than a uhaul but smaller than a semi, with the back open. You try the driver's door and it opens. "I wonder if they left the keys..." you wonder aloud. You lower the sun visor. Nothing. Guess you can't be that lucky all the time. Still, might be something good here, might as well check. As you're reaching across, you hear a jangle. No way... You get in the seat and look. Sure enough, there the keys are, sitting in the ignition.

Rushing back to your team, it doesn't take long before word spreads and the truck to steadily fill up with clothes. Making sure to get useful items from a sporting goods store, you also stock up on men's working clothes, underwear, and boots, though it ends up being a tiny fraction of the load. Satisfied with what you found, you wander around the adandonded mall, wondering if you'll ever see one open again in your lifetime. Then a particular store catches your eye. Victoria's Secret. Jackpot. This is even better than the truck. You rush to fill your as many boxes with as much lingerie, panties, and sexy bras as you can. You even take a break to raid a halloween costume store for some sexy costumes. Taking much of the day, you fill the entire truck full of clothes. You manage to get a decent portion of the store into the truck.

When you park the truck outside youe building, you can see the faces of all the girls who have lined up to unload their new clothes. Even Natasha has a little smile on her face. You oversee the distribution of the clothes, having your boxes put into one of the storage rooms for your own personal distribution at a later date. The energy is infectious, and even the men, who couldn't care less about new clothes, are cheerful. Glad that you were able to bring up morale, you allow them to bask in their happiness while you turn in early. You sleep so soundly that you don't even wake up when your guard comes in for her nightly shift. As you sleep, your mind thinks about the next challenge to overcome.
