A classic question of the modern age

“Yuri, truth or dare?” Emily asked with a quizzical look to her face.

“Truth,” Yuri replied.

“How did you know you were homosexual?” Emily asked bluntly. Sarah’s jaw drops in shock, but all Yuri can do is laugh.

“Hahaha… you really were raised Christian, huh?” Yuri said with a grin on her face. Emily just continues to stare, waiting for Yuri’s answer.

“First of all, I’m not homosexual, I’m bisexual. I like guys and gals equally,” Yuri explained.

“Oh, sorry! I’m still getting used to these kind of words,” Emily said meekly.

“Oh no, it’s fine. Not everyone knows these kind of things instantly,” Yuri said, trying to reassure Emily.

Emily looks back up at Yuri and shines a smile at her.

“Anyway, it’s kind of a long story. When I was about 13 years old, I had several fictional crushes, all of which were women in shows and movies I liked,” Yuri explained before being cut off.

“Well now you have to tell us who they were,” Casandra commented. Yuri thinks hard about all her childhood crushes from way back, seemingly less embarrassed than what Casandra thought she’s be.

“Let’s see, Princess Leia, Cat woman, Nico Robin, Tifa, ohhh I loved Tifa. Can’t believe they needed her boobs in the remake, but hey, she’s still really hot!” Yuri said with a twinkle in her eye.

“So it was because of your infatuation with these characters, you knew you were not straight?” Emily asked, to which Yuri swayed her head back and forth.

“Nah, that was just the tip of the iceberg. Once I got into high school, I started feeling weird around women. I was never normal around guys and girls. When I was with guys, I wanted them to kiss me and grab me, but when I was with girls, I wanted to grab them and kiss them everywhere!” Yuri explained.

“Interesting, so you were always attracted to someone because of this?” Emily asked.

“Basically, didn’t help that I had very overactive hormones. Up until I turned 20, I was taking heat suppressants, birth control, you name it. I was a real horn dog back in the day and being Bi didn’t help that one bit,” Yuri explained nonchalantly.

“Wow, a Yuri even hornier than now, I couldn’t imagine,” Sarah joked, causing Yuri to laugh with her.

“Oh yeah, it was real bad. I remember when I was 18 and I faked being sick so I could stay home and masturbate all day. That was when my cycles of heat were really awful,” Yuri casually admitted.

“Interesting, but why are you Bisexual?” Emily asked, still genuinely confused.

“There really isn’t a reason why I am who I am. I was born Bi, and that’s just who I am. No one turns gay you know?” Yuri replied.

“Mmmhmm, would you say this feeling is, _normal?” _Emily asked.

“100%! You can’t control who you’re attracted to. As long as it isn’t anything fucked up, you should embrace your sexuality!” Yuri explained.

Emily looks down to the ground, face full of blush as she listens to Yuri’s words. Sarah finds this weird, but doesn’t put much thought into it.
