Batgirl stood in the courtroom. Beside her was Harvey Bullock. It wasn't looking good for her.
"You were discovered next to an officer that had clearly been attacked. While I highly doubt you had anything to do with that, you're also illegally operating as a vigilante," stated the Judge.
"Your honor, I've done nothing but help Gotham!"
"Help Gotham? You and your costumed friends have made this City into the laughingstock on the world. It's like it's Halloween year-round!"
Batgirl had no response, she saw Bullock smirk out of the corner of her eye. He was loving every moment of this.
"What do you want us to do, Judge?" he asked, hoping to get permission to put Batgirl down permanently.
"Batgirl, I recognize that you have done SOME good in your time. So I'll give you a choice. You need to stop your vigilantism. You can either unmask here and go under house arrest, or you can keep your mask on and be confined in Arkham where you will be given a physical and psychological examination. I can't promise that our medical professionals in Arkham will leave your mask on," ordered the Judge.
Batgirl was shocked. She had to choose, but both options were not looking good.
