A change of wardrobes

Josh couldn't believe his eyes when the women returned. If he didn't know what had happened he'd think they'd bith suffered a head injury or something. His mom, her hair and makeup usually perfectly manacured was sweaty and greasy with unkempt hair. She was carrying bags of shopping, each with generic, bargain brand names on the side. She was wearing one of her new outfits already, an oversized grey tracksuit that contrasted starkly with her usual low cut and form fitting clothes.

Holly on the other hand, who had always been a bit of a tomboy, usually spent her life hiding her figure under baggie clothes. She rarely wore make up and her hair was often a mess of greasy, unkempt strands. The woman walking in was the opposite. Carrying bags of designer clothes and makeup brands, she had clearly had her hair and makeup professionally done. Her usual baggy, unattractive outfit was replaced with a form fitting outfit that was sheer and see-through in all the right places and hugged her figure tightly.

"How was your trip" Josh asked

"Alright" his mom shrugged, already dumping her bags on the floor to curl up on the sofa.

"Sooooo good" Holly beamed "I'm just going to go and sort my hair out and get changed and then we can have some dinner, Josh can you order take out whilst I'm upstairs. Don't get me much, I'm not particularly hungry"

With that she disappeared upstairs. Josh pulled out his phone and scrolled through to a delivery app. He settled on pizza, that was always a good shout. "Hey mom, I'm ordering pizza. What do you want?" He asked. His mom looked up from her phone excitedly "oooh, I'll take a large meat feast pizza with a side of wings and some garlic bread. Oh and a bottle of Coke too"

Josh punched her order into his phone as he walked upstairs. He could hear Holly was in the bathroom so he gave a knock "Holly, what pizza do you want" he asked.

"Urm... I'm not overly hungry" weird, that sounded like she was in the bath but Josh hadnt heard her run one "just a ceaser salad will be fine thanks"

Josh was slightly taken aback, Holly never had just a salad and it was rare for his mom to want pizza at all, never mind all the sides. He messaged Chloe as he input everyones orders but she replied that she'd be staying with her boyfriend for a few nights so didn't want anything.

Josh sat down on the sofa next to his mom, watching her browsing gaming clips on TikTok, weird, she'd never shown an interest in gaming before. Shortly afterwards the food arrived. Josh shouted up to Holly who replied she was just getting dressed and would be down in a sec. When she did Josh's jaw hit the floor. She was in another new outfit, somehow tighter than the last. The shiny material creaking slightly as she made her way down the stairs. She'd also changed her hair, it was now Blonde a colour Holly would never have chosen.

"Ooh, this salad looks delicious" she said as she cleared a space on the sofa, sitting between Josh and his mom. "Let's have some food and then I was thinking family game night? We've not done that in ages"
