A boring class that gets interesting way too fast.

Ruby slowly stirred as morning came, and she slowly turned to look at her alarm clock, and froze, realizing they had all forgot to set said alarms, and released a shrill shriek that woke her teammates instantly. "Guys, we slept in! We need to hurry, or we'll be late to our first class!"

"Wait, what!? Oh no, you're right!" Weiss panicked.

They hurried to get ready in a panic, getting into their uniforms, sans the top part in Yang's case and then quickly rushed out the door, Team JNPR not far behind Team RWBY, Ruby making damn sure she had the lamp safely in her bag. Thankfully, they made it on time, with only minutes to spare.

Professor Port's class was... Rather dull to say the least. He seemed to be more interested in telling stories about his glory days than actually teaching. And while said stories might have been pretty interesting, his delivery was rather long winded, and he just droned on... and on... and on...

That said, a few of the guys in class were managing to stay awake, though Ruby was amused to realize that had nothing to do with their diligence, and everything to do with the fact that they were seated close to Yang, and could get a few free looks at her exposed breasts. Yang also noticed, and grinned, giving them a shake. After all, her Mistress wouldn't permanently make her topless unless she was perfectly okay with Yang showing herself off a little, something Yang was all too happy to do.

However, eventually, the professor suddenly made things interesting when a cage containing a Grimm was brought in, and Professor Port asked who had the guts to prove their mettle against said Grimm. Before anyone else had the chance, Weiss suddenly volunteered, seeming quite frustrated about something. Ruby looked at her, silently wondering what had crawled up her butt.

Professor Port enthusiastically agreed to let Weiss test her skill and courage, and had the cage opened as she stared it down. The Grimm, a Boarbatusk, came charging out, and Weiss began attacking it. Rather than focusing on her however, it suddenly veered off, charging right towards the class instead of its opponent... Specifically, it was going for Ruby.

"Eh? Why you coming after ME!?" Ruby yelped, somehow having enough presence of mind to grab her bag as she dove for cover. The boar like Grimm smashed through her desk, even as the class panicked and pandemonium erupted. And to make matters worse, it turned right back towards her and charged again. Yang blinked, before suddenly seeming to remember something. "...eh heh, oops..." she muttered sheepishly under her breath. "Forgot to warn Mistress about that issue with the lamp..."
