A book mimic

“See?” Taggie adorably twirled. It looked like she was wearing a skirt made out of leaves and flowers. In reality, she had glued the plants to her nightgown, just like Delphi had done with her nightwear. “With a few adjustments, this seems like a traditional Wood Elf skirt! No one can tell this is our pajamas!”

“Y-yeah, It’s almost like we are wearing a real outfit. Shame that Violet and Orchid are still too mad to lend us clothes… or even talk to us.”

“Eh, give a few weeks. They’ll get over it, they always do.”

“T-there you are! Do you know how hard it is to sneak here? I had to hide under a bush for half an hour while your headmistress literally stopped to smell every single rose on it! Ugh, so scratchy.” Kim entered the room and slammed the door behind her. The human was drawing big breaths. She was also carrying two books, one pressed between her smooth legs and the other over her curvy chest. She was naked from head to toe. Her only possessions were her delivery and the rose sticking out of her messy hair.

“Actually, we know that quite well. What happened to your clothes?”

“I got into a bit of trouble in the delivery before this one. Let’s just say that if you insinuate that the empress has no clothes, you will be pressed to join her procession. This time, I won’t leave this room without some sort of…” The naked human opened the closet and paused. “Jeez, your wardrobe is almost as empty as mine!

Delphi stared at their joint wardrobe. Yep, they were down to their last: A pair of long tunics, one set of underwear, a hose, and a sandal. She bashfully looked down.“We know.”

“Can’t take anything from you, it’s like robbing a homeless person. Isn’t this some sort of paradise school for elven nerds? Don’t you like, have unlimited clothes or something?”

“W-well, we do get one free uniform per year, but if you want more clothes, or anything else really, there is a procedure.”

Taggie growled. “Ugh, don’t remind me. We would have to do five long queues, write an essay on why we are asking for more clothes, get four letters of recommendation, and then wait for the approval, or disapproval, from the headmistress…”

“We elves do love our bureaucracy, one of the downsides of living so long. That’s why we order from you! It’s much faster. I don’t suppose you sell clothes too?”

“Ha! I wish… Anyway, here are your books. I think you never specified which one you wanted, so they made bring you both editions.”

Taggie examined the books, choosing the one Kim had over her hairless sex. “We’ll take this one, thanks.”

“G-great. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go sneak by a hundred elves to try and get back to the portal by the entrance.” Kim stuck her head out the door, took a long breath, and then sprinted out.

“Whatever you do Delphi, don’t open this book. This is the mimic I told you about!”

“Who let a naked human into our campus?” someone yelled from outside.

“Kyaa!”

“Oh yeah, you were rambling about how you were going to get back at Viela once and for all. Did you order the extra strong mimic, the one with the guarantee to make adventurers too scared to explore your dungeon?”

“Yep, once someone opens this bad boy, a mass of slimy tentacles wraps all around the victim and binds her tightly. Not only it is almost impossible to escape by yourself, but the mimic also messes with its prey. Tickling, groping, spanking. Supposedly it even pinches the nipples of its victims. Anything it could do to make them uncomfortable.”

“Yikes,” Delphi said, instinctually hugging her chest. “Wouldn’t want to get caught on the wrong end of that.”
