A bit of suspicion - Bernard’s turn (Full moon rut)

The specific wording of the card reminded Jamie of something that his brother said in a call he received while the group was busy developing the game. It went along the lines of ‘MP is changing us, i-it knows when we try to avoid it’, Jamie thought he was high or drunk from some substance called MP but now he thinks that maybe he meant Male Paradise. Keeping this suspicion to himself, he begins to pay more attention to the game.

Bernard finishes his beer, warming up from the intake of ****, he reaches for his card. As he does the game tries to move the foreign piece and succeeds but at a snail's pace. Bernard flips the card over revealing a background with a huge full moon hanging over a still lake that separates an indistinguishable man and wolf that, looked like it, was painted using different shades of red before he read the words written on the moon.

“Full Moon Rut: Go into rut when exposed to the full moon’s light. The rut has a one in four chance to subside after cumming. Move one. End turn. Permanent. This is a warning to play properly.” Bernard read out as he moved his piece one forward.

“Do you feel any different?” Calvin asked teasingly.

“Maybe a little warmer down there but I’m pretty sure this is the cause of that,” Bernard replied as he crumpled the empty beer can.

“Even if it was real we wouldn’t find out tonight it's not a full moon.” Jamie said normally while feeling miniscule disappointment after looking out the window and seeing the moon that wasn’t full.

Everyone accepted this and turned to Oscar to see what their draw would say.
