A bit of build up to the First Task

Marvolo had spent the whole night writing a furious letter to Kingsley Shacklebolt, requesting help in getting Crouch to leave him alone and out of the Tournament. Now he sat in silent fury eating his breakfast and making it a priority to inconvenience Crouch's job as much as possible, even going so far as to asking Peeves to make Crouch's life miserable for him and as Peeves was Hogwarts master of mayhem and resident poltergeist, it was too tempting to resist. Either way Marvolo was more concerned with the Slytherin reactions than other matters, Draco had been giving him an earful about not informing him on "how he bypassed Dumbledore's age line." Tracey and Daphne had been unable to even speak to him, and only Blaise and Nott bothered socialising with him. "Hang back, I need To go do something." Says Marvolo, as he approaches the Gryffindor table. "This is not going to end well." Says Blaise. "..." Was all Nott had to say, or didn't in his case.

"Oi! Potter! That was a real nice trick you pulled, getting yourself a scapegoat in the tournament, I Just don't get why you had to put my name down!" Shouts Marvolo. "I had nothing to do with any of this!!" Declares Potter. "Really? Because I certainly didn't put my name down, and unlike you I didn't cower behind the Headmaster, I went and Hexed that Moron from the ministry, in front of Dumbledore, McGonagall and Snape I Might add. I Actually tried to fight it, this is all your fault I'm in this mess, Now....Draw.....Your....Wand." Says Marvolo as he draws his Wand. "What?" Asks Potter. Marvolo lowers his voice to a barely audible whisper. "Listen to me, someone has played us both for fools, if we pretend to have **** tension between us, we just might get the upper hand come time to reveal. Now draw your Wand, we need to make it look real." Says Marvolo. Harry draws his Wand and Marvolo walks back a few steps.

With a wink, Potter and Marvolo fire their Hexes and Jinxes at exactly the same time. They fire volley after volley, and it gets serious enough that other students start involving themselves. Ginny Weasley, Hermione, Fred and George Weasley, Viktor Krum, and Neville Longbottom aid Harry, while Blaise, Nott, Draco, Fluer, and Daphne and Tracey join Marvolo's side. It isn't long before the teachers show up and try and stop it.

All fourteen students stood in the Headmasters Office, save Marvolo who sat comfortable in a transfigured chair. An irate Snape had just finished scolding all the Hogwarts students, Particularly Potter's group of friends and allies. Only the Beauxbatons and Durmstrang Champions received no words of warning, since Snape didn't have the authority to do so. As for Marvolo, Snape grabbed him by the color and dragged him to the Slytherin Dorm and Sat him down in Snape's office in the dorm. "Are you completely insane? Starting a veritable brawl that draws in our guests? What possible advantage could be gained from this?" Asks Snape. "Surprise for one. I'm no idiot professor, and neither are you, you may be an ass to him, but even you wouldn't go so far as to put Harry's name down, nor mine for that matter. But someone clearly wants to play us against each other, who could gain from this I wonder? Wait, we both know exactly who would gain." Says Marvolo. "Voldemort." Says Snape. "Correct, you were once a **** Eater, as was Karkaroff, but from what I've discerned you have been helping Harry in secret. Now here's the thing, I was raised by Mad-Eye Moody, but since he's shown up he's been different to how I Remember him, now it could be just not remembering certain stuff due to my age, but since that little surprise, I don't think he's all there if you catch my drift." Says Marvolo.

"Moody is many things, mad, irritable, stubborn, and insufferable, but he is not an ally of the Dark Lord. Nor would he support those who do." Says Snape. "That may very well be the case, but given the right circumstances he can be caught off guard, which can be capitalised on and he could be captured and milked for the hair and skin samples needed for Polyjuice Potion." Says Marvolo. "Are You Suggesting Alastor Moody Is Not Who He Appears To Be?" Asks Snape. "I'm just saying what I know, and the fact remains, he's different to how I remember him, and with the recent show of the Dark Mark and mine and Potter's names on the same slip of paper that just happened to be spit from the goblet? Individually their coincidences, but when they stack up like that, they become evidence of a conspiracy, I need your help professor, if I'm to find out whose responsible I need a professor on my side." Says Marvolo, but before Snape can respond, he gets up and leaves. "That duel was merely to deflect suspicion, Potter and I will face down whose played us for idiots together when the time comes, you have my word professor Snape." Says Marvolo as he briefly pauses at the door.

Not long after he'd left the Slytherin Head of Houses office in the Dormitories for Slytherin, Daphne called him to her and Tracey's room, but he found no sign of Tracey. "Where's Tracey?" Marvolo asks. "She's busy dealing with Pansy." Says Daphne as she opens the curtains of her four poster bed, revealing a sight that causes Marvolo's breath to stop, his heart to thump harder and slower from, and straining in his pants. Marvolo walked over to his dark-haired girlfriend and kissed her, she pulled his collar as she tugged him closer, and together they began shedding his clothing off, never leaving their lip lock until they got to his shirt. Daphne began moaning as he began planting kisses all up her bare flesh, before settling on her neck. "Mom suggested we take the next step in our relationship." Daphne whispered in his ear. "I'll be sure to thank her for this when I'm done, but first things first.....I love you Daphne Greengrass." Marvolo whispers before speaking it again in Parseltongue, chiefly because Daphne somehow always became aroused when he spoke to her in Parseltongue.

He began to progressively get more intimate with Daphne, but before he could unhook her bra the door swung open revealing a Small Horde Of Nifflers, a Porlock, a Fairy, and a Bowtruckle. The Nifflers immediately set themselves upon Marvolo and Daphne and the Fairy began to peruse it's own image in the mirror beside Daphne's bed, the Bowtruckle hung from the bed poster and the Porlock put it's head against the bed as it leaned against it. Soon enough the Thunderbird, Murtlap, Crup Puppie, and Kneazle that he had adopted followed them and began to join their fellow friends. "Looks like I don't get to finish after all..." Marvolo muses to Daphne, who lets out an unsatisfied huff.
