With the mood ruined and the door opened, they talk

Marvolo and Daphne both took up their clothes again, and sat in the Slytherin Common Room. Daphne rested her shoulder on his head and they watched the fire crackle. Aside from each other, there was no other Slytherin student or teacher present. It was roughly midnight and they both felt free to talk. "So...did you put your name in?" Asks Daphne. "No, but I've my suspicions who did, and if it wasn't Harry, then I have cause to be concerned, I suppose I should pay a visit to the Basilisk, she may know if I'm right in my suspicions." Says Marvolo. "I really hate that thing." Says Daphne. "I know, but as the last true Heir of Slytherin I have to remain behind in order to contain it. Daphne....when the time comes, you have to support me, no matter what, you, Tracey, and Millicent will need to back me up, I've already got Blaise and Theodore in line, but the six of us together could unite Slytherin when the time is right and the fruit is ripe." Says Marvolo pausing to whisper ever so silently in Daphne's ear. "When the Dark Lord Rises, we alone will stand against him, we six will fight him to the end, not because he is evil, corrupted, or does more harm than good, but because he is unfit to lead at all. But if we're to stand against him, we must be ready, so gather the girls, and we'll start the preparations tomorrow." Says Marvolo as he transforms into his Animagus Form and flies away towards Gryffindor Tower.

Marvolo was perched atop the bunk of Potter of Weasley, before he changed back and clamped his hand around Potter's mouth and woke him. "Don't ask me how I got inside, but you and I need to speak with some friends, so wake up Hermione, and meet me and my allies in the courtyard, use that cloak of yours if you have to." Says Marvolo, as he removes his hand and leaves.

Marvolo, Blaise, Theodore, and Cedric Diggory sat by the fountain while they awaited Potter and Granger. Finally they showed up. "Good we're all here, so listen up." Says Marvolo. "Why is She here?" Blaise asks, referring to Hermione. "Because as painful as it is for us Purebloods, she's the smartest student in our year outside of myself. Now then, onto the matter at hand, this tournament is in essence a game of chess, the tournament itself is immaterial, but the reasons are not. My and Harry's names were on the same parchment, and the Goblet just happened to spit it out after everyone else's? Now ordinarily I wouldn't assume what I'm assuming, but I don't think Moody is who he says he is." Says Marvolo. "What makes you say that?" Asks Cedric. "Because the man helped raise me! Why do you think I'm so proficient at using Jinxes, Hexes, Curses, and Charms? He never drank in public and was far more restrained than he is now, so either Polyjuice is at work, or the man's a traitor, and Snape himself dispelled any doubt of the latter." Says Marvolo.

"What do you want us to do?" Asks Potter. "For now go about your business, myself and my Slytherin Brothers here will begun training our housemates in preparation for the Worst, I'm giving you each a special Runestone of my own making, it allows communication between one or all of us, when your needed to answer it will begin to project either a startling heat or a biting cold, depending on the weather. But first things first, Harry and Cedric hold out your hands." Says Marvolo as he Reaches Beyond their hands to grasp their forearms. "Blaise, begin." Says Marvolo. "Blessed are the cunning, the righteous, the loyal, and the brave, only together will they find their light, and only through their light can they vanquish the coming darkness." Says Blaise as a bright light courses from Marvolo's hands and burns itself onto Cedric and Harry's arms and hands. "What was that?" Asks Cedric. "A Binding Spell, Now the three of us are linked up, only together can we disrupt and break it, but now that we've been marked with the our colours, we know our roles. I am the cunning, Harry is the brave, and you Cedric, you are the loyal. The spell is designed to draw out the traits we are most strongly associated with, and our house plays a role in it." Says Marvolo. "Hence the yellow, red, and green." Says Cedric. "Correct, We require a fourth to seal the union, but only the three of us together can choose they who is best suited, it's one of the spells major drawbacks." Says Marvolo.

"How So?" Asks Hermione. "When I created this spell I had to partition it between four aspects of magic and individual, as a Slytherin I excel at the invention and countering of Dark Magic, you know Jinxes, Hexes, and Curses. However because my greatest class is Potions, a non-Magical powered art, I had to choose to empower something else. So I chose Defence Against The Dark Arts. Magic like that is dangerous and useful in equal measure, so i needed to split it an additional two ways. As a Hufflepuff, Cedric has a hardworking nature, which is why he excels at all areas. But it was to broad a spectrum to empower, and thus it was reserved to the art of Transfiguration. Gryffindor's generally have an affinity for Transfiguration with the current and previous Head of House both teaching the subject here, but because Cedric has received the magical boon in Transfiguration this meant I had to boost a different magical skill of Harry's, I chose his Flying skill." Says Marvolo. "You still haven't explained why we need a fourth to seal this union." Says Harry. "Hogwarts has four houses, Slytherin, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw, in essence we need a champion from each house, but as you know Harry I don't know many Ravenclaw's willing to leap into danger without fear or worry. The clincher is we don't necessarily need a Ravenclaw, I'm already working on a fourth, but we need to each approve together else the spell won't take." Says Marvolo. "Who were you thinking?" Asks Cedric. "The Beauxbatons Champion, Lady Delacour. She and I have already struck up something resembling a rapport, given time I believe I can determine how worthy she is. However you and Harry should each bring forth your own candidates, but choose wisely, our lives depend on it." Says Marvolo as he draws his wand and points it before him, and Blaise and Nott do so as well. Soon, Harry, Cedric, and Hermione get the hint and pull and point there wands as well the circle of wands begins to glow and small wisps of light fly off. "We Should all get some sleep." Says Marvolo.

Marvolo, Blaise and Nott had returned to the Slytherin Dungeon, and had returned to their rooms, Marvolo for his part went to sleep, knowing he had a big task ahead of him. Unfortunately, he was only an hour asleep before he woke up in a cold sweat and found Snape looming over him. "Follow me." Says Snape and Marvolo clambers out of bed and dresses as quickly and warmly as possible.

Snape had led Marvolo into the Forbidden Forest. "Professor, your not going to **** me are you?" Asks Marvolo. "If I was planning to **** you, rest assured it would not be so terribly obvious as taking you here. Now, do you see those creatures ahead?" Asks Snape, and as he looks closer, Marvolo's eyes widen and the hair on the back of his neck stands up. "Bloody Hell!" Marvolo curses silently. "Indeed, you can make sure to thank Mr. Weasley's second eldest brother for those specimens, and a former Slytherin prefect too now that I Think about it." Says Snape. "Here's hoping the other school champions get the Horntail and Ironbelly." Marvolo says hopefully, despite guessing he and Harry would be the victims destined for the two Dragons. "Before we go, there is the matter of your request last year." Says Snape. "Any takers?" Asks Marvolo. "Several, you'll get your pick of litter so to speak." Says Snape.
