They arrived back at the Newspaper Club room, and Tsukane took a moment to make sure Gin was still nowhere about before asking Yukari, "So, you want this back?" He held up the Warawara-kun doll.

"Oh, thanks!" Yukari replied, taking the doll back, and noticed that Kurumu's hair had been taken out of it. "Awww..." she pouted, causing Kurumu's eye to twitch.

Tsukane chuckled, seeing her disappointed. That doll might be some fun to play with a bit in the future, but he would wait on that. "Listen Yukari, I know you have had troubles making friends in the past due to bigotry," Tsukane told her. "That's what it's like, being a hated race, isn't it?"

"...I was alone for most of my life," Yukari admitted, sitting in a chair and hugging her knees to her body. "No one ever wanted to associate with me... That's part of why I started pulling pranks. I mean, it was also funny, but being yelled at was better than being ignored by everyone... At least then my existence was acknowledged in some way."

"Yeah, but some monsters are the kind you're better off being ignored by," Kurumu remarked. "You know, dangerous temperamental ones. Like those lizard men earlier, you almost got yourself eaten because they were paying attention to you..."

"But my point is," Tsukane pressed on, turning back to Yukari. "You can't go around trying to break up friend groups just because you want Moka and I to yourself. Kurumu is one of our friends too. I'm not telling you that you have to be buddy buddy with her to hang out with us. I'm not even going to tell you to stop pranking her," he quipped.

"Hey!" Kurumu whined.

"All I am asking is for you to stop trying to drive a wedge between us. And don't do anything that could seriously hurt Kurumu or get her in trouble, okay?"

"...alright, I can live with that," Yukari nodded. She then got up and headed for the door of the room to think... And tripped. "Ow! What the!?" she protested, looking to see that her panties were around her ankles.

"Haha, I got you that time!" Kurumu cackled, her tail waving, her having used it and a bit of sleight of hand... Er, tail, to pull down Yukari's panties without her noticing. "Turnabout's fair play you know!"

A tick mark grew on Yukari's head. "...why you..." she growled, a mischievous glint in her eye. "This means war..."

"You started it, I just retaliated," Kurumu chortled simply.

"...you have no idea just what horrible game you just signed up for," Yukari smirked evilly as she straightened up, pulling up her panties. "Welcome to the world of petty **** pranks..."

"...hoh boy," Tsukane groaned as Moka giggled. "This will make life rather interesting around here..."
