A basement?

You try to scream, but somebody stuffs what feels like a sock in your mouth. Angel is also quiet and you assume the same has been done to her.

Your destination isn't far. After maybe a fifteen minute ride you stop. Rough hands drag you from the SUV. You are pulled into a building and down the stairs. You are chained to a wall. You hear the footsteps of your kidnappesr departing.

You turn your head. The room is quiet. It is dark. It is dank. It smells vaguely of beer.

You hear Angel. "Mpht. Phft."

You hear hear her spit something out.

"BJ, try to spit it out."

You push with your tongue. Finally after three or four tries you loosen it.

"Pffft!"

You expel it.

"Angel, any idea who the thugs are?"

"None. How many girls were you sleeping with?"

"Four, but mostly just Anne."

"We should probably try to escape. How are you bindings?"

You pull and twist. One of them has a little give. You pull again. It is maybe a little looser.

"I might be able to work free. You?"

"Mine are really sturdy. Keep trying."

You give another pull and then stop. You hear footsteps coming down the stairs.
