A band of thieves.

You turn to see a group of ruffians dressed similarly in breaches, tunics, and rigid leather breastplates. They each hold a short sword and have begun to circle you as the leader calls out, “Give us your valuables and we will let you leave with your life.”

“Only 8 of you. Hardly a fair fight.” You challenge them as you draw your sword and take a combat stance.

“What a fool you are. You don’t stand a chance against all of us. Surrender and live. That is your last warning.”

You eye them and can see several are scared and decide not to back down. “Who wants to die first.” Then with a dismissive wave of your sword you add, “Or run I care not.”

“Fool, Kill him.” The leader shouts. However you move far quicker than your mass would suggest and with a flick of your wrist you send the throwing dagger into the leaders throat dropping him where he stands gurgling. As the rest attack you parry the first thrust and chop off another’s arm sending him to the ground screaming. But it takes all you have backing away to keep the 6 remaining swords at bay.

You start to get a bit worried when suddenly one of them turns and runs his friend through with a blank look on his face. Two more drop to the ground grabbing at their slit throats and where they stood you see two incredibly beautiful twin girls. They have deep tan skin, very short wild black hair, standing 5’5” tall with lithe athletic forms and smallish B cup breasts, and wicked smiles on their pretty faces. They carry a matching pair of single bladed 18” swords and longbows on their backs. They are dressed in but a simple soft leather bikini and nothing more, the only other thing on them being matching necklaces, a ring on each finger, a series of small bracelets and anklets, and a pair of matching scabbards for their swords at each hip on a thin chain belt. “Pixi, Tixi, nice to see you.” You say as the interruption gives you an opening and you send another to his maker with a slash to the belly that nearly cuts him in half.

The one with the blank stare then slits his own throat and the last one standing and the one with one arm run screaming into the darkness back where they came. You look and see Brianna and Nathan still on their horses. The sorceress Djuvina stands there as if in a trance till the one she was controlling drops to the ground. She is quite beautiful as well standing 5’8” and rail thin with perky A cup breasts with obviously large nipples visibly poking against the long thin deep green dress she wears. It is attached at the neck with the entire back open down to the crack of her ass, ankle length but both sides are cut front and back at the hips so only a 12” wide cloth drops down leaving both legs nearly bare unless she were standing with her legs together in no wind, a final slit down the front to just below her navel reveals it is pierced with a silver stud with a black gem. Tattoos of black vines and symbols cover most of her lower back, coil up her body and most of her bare arms. On her feet she wears simple sandals much like the ones Brianna wears that lace to the knees. She also has a pierced tongue, lip, many in her ears, 2 rings on either hand, broad bronze bracelets around her wrists, and a black choker with a single silver stud at the front of her throat. The only weapon she carries is a long thin dagger at her waist in her belt.

In complete contrast Nathan carries a crossbow, a pair of javelins on his back, and a long simple stout quarterstaff. He stands just under 6’ you would guess as he sits on his horse. He is rather handsome in his own right with short neat black hair, a ruddy complexion, and angular features. He only wears a simple brown tunic, loose breeches, and a hooded cloak with the hood down.

Brianna is first to speak, “It figures you would get into trouble if I left you alone. Shall we go?” She spurs her horse into action and begins to head south west away from the city.

“Impatient bitch.” You call to her sending the twins into cute tittering laughter as they quickly bound after her running far faster than you would have thought possible. You jog to your horse as Djuvina mounts hers beside you. “I guess we are the stragglers.”

She flashes you a smile and calls back, “Perhaps we should stick together then. Do you use all your weapons as skillfully?”

“I am quite adept with all things.” You say with a dirty grin. “Who knows you might enjoy my other sword.”

“If it is as big as the one on your back I am sure I would.”

Then you see the others stopped ahead and hear Brianna shout, “We are running behind you remember, move it you two or do we have to come back and light a fire under you.”

Djuvina lets out a wicked little laugh and as she kicks her horse to action she quietly adds, “Methinks I may have to test your other sword when we have more time.”

“Challenge accepted. Hyaa!” With a slight kick your horse races to keep up.

The 5 of you travel for a few hours till it is to dark to continue safely. “Hold, we should make camp here at the edge of the forest. I do not wish to travel in there in the dark.” Nathan calls out as he reins in his horse.

Brianna and Djuvina nod in agreement and you see despite running the entire time the twins Pixi and Tixi are not even sweating and slip into the forest calling back in unison, “Yay, we will get the firewood.”

“I guess it is settled then.” You dismount and tie your horse to a tree. Soon you have three tents set up and a nice fire going. Djuvina is cooking a pair of hares the twins brought back with them. You are amazed at how good it tastes as you suck down the meat as well as a pear from your packs.

Then Brianna stands and stretches. “Well I am calling it a night, wake me for third watch.” She walks into the tent on the far right and you hear her undressing.

The twins are up next and Pixi smiles, “We can take second watch if you like.” They then smile at each other and dive into her tent causing her to begin shouting obscenities.

Nathan looks to Djuvina, then you and adds, “Well does one of you want third watch with Brianna or do you want me to take it?”
