A awful night and a meeting at dawn

"Things aren't completely hopeless", I think to myself. I did archery in high school and Nadya has taught me some basic survival over the last few days. I can make this work.

Several hours later I am wet and cold. The archery skills I thought I had didn’t hold up well live targets that react to your presence. As the sky starts to lighten, I'm struck with an awful thought. What if I've already woken up.

I panic, the stress and disappointment of the night combined with the implications of the lightening sky causes my chest to heave and my breast to shift. The two weights on my chest are a reminder of how much things have changed.

I hear a chuckle as I am having a breakdown in the jungle. "I wish I could have helped, but you never gave me an opportunity to step in".

I look up and see a well-muscled man in his twenties with snow white hair. "And now, I'm afraid I’m somewhat limited in what I can do now that you fall firmly within my cousins’ service. Though I tend to always find a way to make things work."

"You're just trying to trick me so you can smite me with lighting" I snap back.

He rolls his eyes, "That's totally not my style, do I look like the god of thunder?"

"Well, you certainly have the body of one." I cringe and bit at the inadvertent complement.

“You’re one to talk, the Huntress’s transformation magic definitely above and beyond when gifting you those curves.” He smirks and I feel my body betray me as my face flushes.

“Shut up, how can you help me anyways?” I look away from his taunting smile.

"It's not how I normally help mortals but I do know a thing or two about bows. Your bowman... er womanship could use some work and you can use all the help you can get with the woman scorned situation you have going on. I might be able to help you solve both of those... for a price."

I tense up, suspicious of any more divine help after the fiasco with the huntress. "I'll bite, what do you want?"
