What's Next?????

A War Of Attrition

Aegon's Plan For The Stepstones Was A War Of Attrition, He Would Strike Them From The Shadows, Cut Them Down Like Sheep, and Bury Them Beneath The Sea. As The Chaos Was Going On, Aegon's Fleets Which Were Being Upgraded By Aegon's Hand, Upgraded To Include Mighty War Dromonds Crewed By Men Of The Stormlands, Westerlands, North, and Crownlands, But Also The Longships Of The Iron Fleet. The Representative Of The Iron Islands Had Been Chosen As Lord Victarion Greyjoy, One Of The Few Greyjoy's Aegon Believed He Could Ever Begin To Possibly Trust. The Man Was Far More Honorable Than All His Brothers, Save Perhaps For His Priestly Brother Aeron. Aegon's Primary Goal, Aside From Attrition Was A War That Ended Quickly, Enabling Him To Turn Grey Gallows Into A Island Of Men and Ships, and Bloodstone An Island Of Mines and Food.

Aegon Wanted To Lead The **** On Bloodstone Personally, But He Would Only Do So When The Attrition Was Ready To End and True Battle Begins. His Master Of Ships, Randyll Tarly, His Representative Of The Reach Loras Tyrell, Representative Of The Riverlands Brynden Tully, and His Representative Of The North Robb Stark Would Lead The Attack On Grey Gallows, While Aegon and The Representatives Of Dorne, The Stormlands, The Iron Islands and The Vale Would **** Bloodstone. The Dornish Representative Was Quentyn, The Stormlands Representative Was Renly Baratheon, and The Vale Representative Was "Bronze" Yohn Royce, and Of Course Victarian Was The Ironborn Representative.

Aegon's Plan To Use Poison While Not Entirely Honorable, Was Necessary. If The Stepstones Factions Had To Suddenly Dump and Destroy Every Last Drop Of Wine and **** In The Islands, Then They'd Be More Inclined To Remedy It and Go After The Shipment Aegon Was Moving Through The Stepstones To Allegedly Arrive At Pentos. Aegon Also Stacked The Ships With Meats and Other Delicacies Which Were Dosed With A Large Variety Of Poisons and Sedatives. It Was A Long Shot Sure, But Aegon Felt Confident In This Regard.

But These Things Took Time, As Any Real War Of Attrition Does. Aegon Would Need To Wait and Painstakingly Apply Each Stroke Of The Brush To Take Down The True Amateur Painting Of A Pirate. Aegon Also Knew Of Other Means To Beat Down The Pirates Present. Aegon Could For Instance Have Illyrio Discretely Hire The Golden Company To Run Through Any Serious Opposition In The Stepstones and Thus Soften Them Up For Aegon's Eventual Invasion. Or, He Could Hire Less Reputable Mercenary Companies.

The Choice's Were Multiple, But Aegon Needed Quality and Quantity. The Golden Company Had Both. Aegon Personally Would've Preferred To Engage In A Long and Protracted Battle, Get The Young Shits That Bit Of Glory and Fame, and Himself A Warriors Reputation For Skill and Strength. But He Knew If He Did He'd Be Inviting Any Number Of Problems. So Attrition Was A Good Way To Wear Down The Defenses While Building Up His Own Little Arsenal Of War.....

What Does Aegon Do In Preparation??
