A VERY Important Gathering - Part 2

As the Americans continue on stage, Mirko looks on from the side of the room. Having left Endeavor and even All Might, she thinks back to what happened on her way here... Izumi Midoriya, hero name Deku, from what she had heard, that girl was supposed to be a monster. Close with All Might, and top of her class in almost every category, she was even going to accept her for the hero work-study, show her the ropes, but whatever got its claws in her has transformed her into another kind of beast...

Taking a sip of water from her paper cup, Mirko crushes it in her grip before throwing it into the trash and turning away from the stage. With a sigh, she walks over to a couple of the sidekicks in the room.

"You two keeping everything secure?" She asks, putting a hand on her hip, trying to act casual despite the circumstances.

Looking over a tablet, a sidekick from the Nighteye agency, Bubble Girl, nods slowly. "Hmm... looks like it." She says cautiously, checking again that every entrance of the building is secure with cameras and defenses.

Next to her, one of Endeavor's sidekicks, Burnin, smirks. "Relax Mirko, we got it handled... this agency is one of the most secure places in the city, trust me I would know." She says the fact proudly, before glancing over at Endeavor from across the room. "No zombies getting in here!"

"Zombies?" Mirko asks, almost laughing, but taking the term serious enough to maintain her composure.

"Well, yeah... Isn't that what this is sounding like to you? a virus or quirk of some kind thats causing everyone to lose their brains and spread it further?"

Mirko thinks for a moment. When Burnin puts it like that, the logic of it does seem sound, only... she thinks of Izumi, how during their fight she was still able to strategize, how even though she was different her original self still shined through. "I don't think I'd call them zombies, maybe something more like..."

"Hold that thought." Bubble Girl suddenly interjects, her gaze never leaving the tablet. The other two look to the sidekick before she turns around and walks towards a hall leaving the main room. "I'll be back, routine check..." She says calmly.

Watching her leave, Burnin shakes her head. "That girl has been paranoid ever since she got here. When Endeavor put her on surveillance duty she immediately got glued to that tablet. Can't say I blame her, but she's been checking every little blip in the cameras or rat the censors pick up in the alley..."

Smirking, Mirko watches as Bubble Girl turns a corner, leaving their sight. "Better safe than sorry I guess..."

As the heroes mingle and discuss their plans, Endeavor talks to the Americans, letting them know where they might be useful. Soon, it becomes obvious where the most dangerous areas are, the spot at the top of the list being UA. "We're not sure if it started here, but from what we can tell the hero students were the hardest hit..." Endeavor says, Mandalay translating next to her.

With his arms crossed, Apollo looks over the map their group has, scanning the nearby streets, and how far the city block is that Mirko had fought Izumi, narrowly escaping as the entire area was transformed. "That's an awfully long distance to cover without converting any other land..." He says thoughtfully. "You'd think a beast like that would've converted everything she touched... Guess they might not be as smart as you give them credit for."

"You're wrong..." Mirko interjects, having left the sidekicks. "That girl is as smart as they come, even under the influence of this pink quirk, she just didn't seem used to what it did to her yet, but it was obvious she's figuring it out."

Apollo looks at the rabbit hero. He recognizes her as one of the top in the country, alongside Endeavor. He sighs, taking her word for it. "If that's the case, then we might have a bigger problem on our hands... Say, Chimera..." He changes tone, looking to his partner. "You think you could handle UA on your own?"

Endeavor and Mirko look at each other, confused, but when they all look at the woman yet to speak, she simply nods, showing no emotion behind her glasses.

Out back, out of an abundance of caution, Bubble Girl makes her way through the halls, reaching the exit out into the alley. Looking at the cameras on the tablet, she doesn't see anything outside, but decides to check anyway. "Gotta remember, they can be smarter than they seem..." She says to herself.

Unlocking the door manually, she steps outside, looking back and forth down the alleyway. At first she sees nothing, another false alarm, she shuts off the alert on the tablet before turning to head back inside once more. Though as she does, something suddenly catches her eye... A figure appears by the street, moving from the sidewalk and turning down towards her. Bubble Girl stops, clipping the tablet to her belt. "Hello?" At first she doesn't recognize the figure, but when the sun dips down in the sky just low enough to catch the figure, her eyes go wide. "Uwabami?"

With a giggle, the heroine and model strikes a decievingly innocent pose, showing off her massive chest and tight dress. "Yep, it's me~" She says, her voice even more soothing than usual. "I'm here for the meeting..."

Immediately Bubble Girl can tell something's wrong with her. She matches the reports they've been getting about infected individuals, so without a second to spare, she takes a step back, ready to lock the door and call for backup. But before she looks away, the snakes on Uwabami's head catch her attention. Their eyes glow a bright pink, and Bubble Girl suddenly feels heavy... like she's cemented to the ground.

"Mmm, good girl~" Uwabami says before sauntering up to the frozen sidekick. "You like my girls? They're good girls too, ever since we got hit by that Izumi's blast, they've been so helpful."

Bubble Girl's mind feels sluggish, like she can't quite focus on... on anything... her gaze lingers on the pro hero's chest, but soon it drops lower. "Guh... what did... why do I feel so..." She tries to speak, but before she knows it, Uwabami reaches out, pushing her against a wall as she starts to undo her belt. Nearby, one of her snakes props the door open, making sure their entry is ready.

"Don't worry, we'll get you nice and ready for the meeting~"
