A Unique Trait

After their shower and a quick breakfast Josh and Jenna both headed off to work. Josh was scheduled to work a few hours at the YMCA and Jenna had a couple personal training clients to work with. The YMCA wasn't particularly busy, and time seemed to drag on for Josh. It wasn't until he got a text towards the end of his shift that he perked up from his boredom. "I've figured out our next target." The text from Jenna read.

Josh and Jenna met back up in the student center before their afternoon class. "So who is it?" Josh said eagerly. "What are you after this time?" Jenna just smiled. She enjoyed seeing Josh so excited. "Come on... Please! What is it?" Josh begged.

"Okay, but don't call me crazy for this one." Jenna said with her first bit of hesitation since all this craziness started. "I want you to swap eyes with Jolene Mayer." Jenna paused waiting for Josh's reaction. Josh just shrugged his shoulders. "Josh how do you not know her?" Josh just shrugged again. "Josh she's the one with heterochromia." Again Josh shrugged clearly he didn't know what Jenna was talking about. "Ugh. She has two different color eyes."

The light bulb went off in Josh's head. He did remember seeing a nerdy girl on campus that had weird eyes. "Wait. Why do you want different color eyes?" Josh asked.

Jenna sighed. "Alright hear me out." Jenna got in closer to Josh so that no one would overhear them. "Since this all started I've been on a **** tour. It's honestly been great. But now..." Jenna paused. "But now there isn't much more I want. I mean yeah I could mess with my face and go for that model look, but I kind of like having the girl next door look." Josh studied Jenna's face. Through the various swaps and reality shifts, her once chubby face had slimmed down and taken on a healthy cute look. She kind of had an Allison Brie look now. "So I think I want to try something different this time. Instead of ****..." She paused. "I think I want to help someone this time." Josh could see that she was being sincere. "Jolene has always been self-conscious of her eyes and I've always thought they were so fascinating. Why not help her out and get a little something for myself?"

Josh was surprised by Jenna's plan. "I guess we can... But what happened to the **** tour?"

Jenna smiled at Josh and sent shivers down his spine. "When you look like I do, you get treated... differently. Sure other women have been mean to me, but it was out of jealously. Why would I want their bitter traits when I look like I do now." Jenna gave Josh a quick kiss. "Now let's find Jolene."

After a bit of searching they stumbled onto Jolene in the library. After a quick swap of their eyes, Josh was off to swap Jenna's old brown eyes with Jolene's eyes. "Hi my name is Josh and I am doing a quick survey." Josh said extending his hand towards Jolene. Before they made eye contact Jolene was instinctive shaking Josh's hand back. "I want to ask if you..." Josh finally caught a glimpse of Jolene's eyes, and he could instantly see why Jenna wanted them. "I wanted to ask how you would rate the campus food?" Josh watched Jolene's eyes shift to Jenna's normal brown hue.

"Alright let's do the swap." Josh said as he returned to Jenna. With swaps becoming second nature now they did a fist bump to initiate the swap. Within seconds Josh watched as his familiar eye color began to leave Jenna's eyes. Jenna's left eye began to take on a blueish hue, while her right eye took on more of a brown hue.

"What do you think?" Jenna asked as she leaned in towards Josh. As he studied her eyes more closely he could see that each eye had a small patch of color from the other eye. They seemed to mesmerize Josh. "I think you like them!" She gave him a kiss.

"Yeah they are so... Interesting." Josh said still lost in her eyes.
