A Thorny

The group forms a circle around you, looking around as something continues to rustle through the plants around you. It's strange though, the bushes around you are fairly sparse and there shouldn't be enough room for anything to hide in them.

Suddenly something bursts out of the darkness, wrapping around a succubus' leg and dragging her into the darkness in a matter of seconds. More things burst out of the bushes but are met with flames from the other demons, crumbling to ash in the face of the infernal flames.

"Great, we're being attacked by fucking plants." Jenny snarls, grabbing you as she speaks. Once you're in her grip a pair of wings appear in a burst of fire and cinders from her back, lifting into the air with you in her arms. You're followed by the other demons, they fling fire at anything moving on the ground and butn any more roots reaching out at your group until they stop. Jenny motions and begins to fly in the direction of the house.

You don't get far before you hear a whistling noise. Thousands of tiny dark shapes fly at your group, Jenny makes sure to shield you. She grunts as they hit her, you see one and realize it's some kind of thorn.

"Fucking shrubs!" More fireballs go flying at the thorn's origins but you see several demons fall to the ground where they're snagged by roots and taken away. "We need shelter..."
