A Test of Strength
Without a word, you both raise your hands. Palms slap together firmly, fingers interlocking in a classic test of strength. Your larger hands engulf hers as you lock up tight.
You plant your feet. Kira does the same.
The push begins.
At first, it’s a stalemate. Kira drives forward with surprising power, her arms and shoulders flexing hard as she tries to force you back. You feel the solid strength in her frame—lean, athletic muscle working at full capacity. She leans her whole body into it, teeth clenched in concentration.
You answer with your own push.
Your thicker arms, broader shoulders, and powerful legs start to overwhelm her. Slowly but steadily, you gain ground. Kira’s arms begin to bend. Her face tightens with effort as she fights to hold her position, but you’re simply stronger. You step forward, forcing her wrists back and down.
She growls and tries to reset, digging her heels into the mat. Sweat starts to glisten on her skin from the intense effort. You keep the pressure on, your own muscles swelling—thick traps, delts, and chest all engaged as you drive her backward.
Another hard shove from you. Kira stumbles a half-step, then drops to one knee, arms still locked with yours. You tower over her, maintaining full control of the hold. Her shoulders strain and her arms tremble as she tries to push back up, but you keep her pinned in place, demonstrating the clear difference in raw power.
Kira looks up at you, breathing hard, frustration and determination clear on her face. She’s not done fighting—not by a long shot—but right now, on her knees in the middle of the ring.
You suddenly release and then grab her in a rough bearhug. She flails, trying to get lose, but you hold tight. You have complete control. (at least for now...
