A Spy for Christmas

Your dad,Charles, gave a sigh, “Well, where to start…” Your mom,Daisy pulled out a paper and started reading down the list.

“Maybe oldest to youngest?” Daisy suggested, passing your dad the list. He took out reading glasses.

“Okay so first off some positive news, negotiations with Rein Corp went through about compensation for your little crash and bang on the Trash World,” your dad said, taking off the glasses. Your mom gave you a subtle look when you noticed that your dad’s glasses had no lens.

“About time. Did they agree with everything or were there some concessions?” You leaned forward eagerly. Your girls perked up and paid more attention to your dad.

“Well, you know that Clover you’re fond of? The security guard?” You nod while thinking about how long it's been since you’ve seen her. It's felt like over a year but it's been more like a couple of months if you count the time travel adventure. If you remember right, she wasn’t feeling well the last time you went into work and she was on sick leave. Good thing Rein Corp was one of the few companies that actually gives the character employees/slaves sick days and treatment (opposed to just sending the replaceable characters to Rein Corp, selling them cheaply, or selling other less reputable/legal companies).

“The one who’s my Clover?” Alex interjected eagerly.

“You betcha!” Your mom cheered. “They are giving her to James.” Diana and Erza patted Alex on her shoulders roughly causing her to grunt in pain while still smiling. You grin at her while your dad starts to talk again.

“She is also bringing a surprise for James…”

In a conference room within the [Generic Prime World City Name] City Rein Corp main building, there was a gathering of unique individuals plus a few lawyers. On one side of the table was a familiar man with a prominent mustache sitting next to a sharply dressed lawyer and a smiling Princess Daisy. On the other side were several Rein Corp representatives, a humanoid shark, and a Kim Wexler from Better Call Saul.

At one of the ends of the table, the one furthest from everyone else, sat a young woman wearing a v-neck, halter crop top and a purple skirt. The outfit looked to be of somewhat lower quality than what was normal for Prime World but was still fashionable. Clover gave glances at Charles Gardner and Princess Daisy Gardner while filing her nails.

“So you’re the Clover who has been fucking my son,” Princess Daisy stated looking at Clover’s exposed and slightly distended stomach.

“...but she rather be the one to tell you.” He half smirked while you tried to read any clues on his or your mom’s faces but their poker faces were spot on. Your dad clapped his hands and pointed at Jamie. “Other than Clover, the money was finalized and a good amount of those Amazonians you picked out were distributed to your siblings and co-workers.”

“Thanks for the TDI Gwen and Penny Proud by the way,” Jamie gave you a wink and appreciative smile before it slipped away. “The dryad though has been a piece of work. And the viking girls built a shrine in my backyard to Freya with Astrid’s help.”

“Good for them,” you replied half questioningly, you didn’t remember any dryads or viking girls among the Amazonians unless some of the barbarian girls were actually vikings. You turn back to your dad. “Did I get the right to–”

“You’ll be able to veto who the remaining ones get bought by and be the one to deliver them.” Your mom informed you, setting down a teacup after taking a long sip. “I just know my little cuddlebuggie will help them find new homes.” You smile at her while some of your girls give you fond smiles.

“Some minor details remain but Llewellyn can tell you more,” your dad explained before he returned to the list once he confirmed that you had no questions. “And for the next item…”
