A Spear of Anath (Cleric/War Priest)

You are Antinara of the House Heraklia. Upon entering the grand temple of Anath & Astrateia, your love of the city made you gravitate towards the precincts of Anath’s shrine. While many of your sisters have taken up the learning and teaching of crafts and knowledge, you have taken it upon yourself to serve as the city’s protector and joined the ranks of the Spears of Anath. An elite corps of warrior priestesses, the Spears work side by side with the Amazon army when the nation goes to war. They also serve as the backbone of the Amazon capital’s home guard defense.

Joining this prestigious order is a source of great pride for you and your mothers. As the daughter of a Captain in Hyppolyta Andromache’s Royal Companion Cavalry and a High Scholar at the Astrateia Library of Arcane Arts, your appointment is seen as a continuation of a very illustrious family’s successes that date back to the Handmaid’s Revolt centuries before.

But it also adds an extra level of pressure as many eyes will be on you, scrutinizing your every move, evaluating whether you are worthy of the name Antinara Heraklia. Of course, you try to brush such politicking aside and focus on your duties as a Spear. In fact your main concerns these days are some “errands” given to you by Anath’s High Priestesses. Such errands have often led to even greater prestige for those who accomplish them.
