What does the lock look like?

A Slider Puzzle...With a Twist

Allen got off the carpet as it set down on the island 7 feet from the door. The pair of double doors had what looked like an Arabian mural on them that was a little mixed up. Once he was next to the doors, Allen could see the mix-up on the doors was because their lock was actually a slider puzzle, with what looked like would be a missing piece once he finished. He figured the missing piece would make itself known after he dealt with the immediate problem before him. Almost as soon as he had started, Allen heard a female cry of surprise. Taking his attention off the puzzle for a moment, Allen turned his attention toward the source of the voice.

Fidda was standing near the magic carpet, completely naked. Her figure was entirely nude, she made 5 attempts to put attire on herself, and they all failed. All her natural beauty was on display; Allen enjoyed the sight of Fidda's uncovered DD-Cup bosom but wisely kept his mouth silent on the matter, and instead, made a remark about the puzzle having a magical trap intended for genies and their ilk. He then made a comment about her probably having to find the missing piece of the mural he was reconstructing, mostly because he recalled being told the Jinn and their kith usually existed in an unseen world that was usually outside the perception of most humans but still very much a part of the physical world, so chances were the last piece was in a state that was only perceptible to genies; and Allen hoped the task would keep Fidda's mind off of the fact of her current state.

Allen went back to moving the puzzle pieces; a few minutes later, he had almost finished the image of the mural, a bottle lamp. Fidda spent that same time, still very much embarrassed regarding her lack of attire, looking around the island for the piece Allen thought was missing; she found it partially under the back right corner of the magic carpet; she would have probably spent more time looking for it if the carpet had completely covered the piece. She brought the final piece over to Allen, and he asked if she wanted to place the final piece in the puzzle or hand it to him to do.

Fidda was touched; she had never had a master give her a choice in something meaningful, especially something like this. She tried to place the final piece in the empty space of the mural of her own volition, only to find she couldn't bring the piece more than a foot from the mural, even after repeated attempts at different angles. Fidda finally gave up in annoyance a few minutes later and handed the piece to Allen; the moment he placed the final piece, the doors swung open, and Fidda was back in her usual attire; she was very thankful for that. The genie was very thankful, and happy, that her attire and ability to do magic were returned to her.

The lamp beyond the doors is almost a dead ringer for the mural's bottle lamp. Allen went up to the lamp and took it off its pedestal. After walking back to Fidda, he just said, "I wish we, and our new acquisitions, were back at the manor my great grandmother left to me." He would have said something cliche like 'back home,' but he was worried about what such imprecise wording at the moment; he would later find out just how justified that line of thinking was sooner than he anticipated. With a wink, Fidda had them back in the room the whole experience had started in, with Allen still holding the bottle and both standing atop the magic carpet.

"To be honest, I thought you were going to open the lamp in the dungeon," said Fidda.

"I figured that would be ill-advised," said Allen, "especially given what happened with doors to the gazebo." Fidda gave a light blush recalling the incident. "How about you go have some 'me time,' for a few hours; I get the feeling once I let the genie out of the bottle," he held up the bottle lamp, "the two of you will quickly go into conflict mode, I think it best to have both know about the other in advance so they can at least pretend to tolerate on first meeting."

"That's probably the best option," said Fidda, "for the time being." With that, she gave a wink and disappeared in a brief flash.
