A Shower just before the Outbreak

Jill was exhausted and frustrated, as she started undressing in her bathroom. Being suspended by the chief and being in all but name under house arrest was infuriating. It was getting late so she thought a nice long hot shower would help her relax before bed. She left her clothes in a pillar in the corner of the bathroom. She stepped into the shower and turned on the water.

Unbeknownst to Jill as she did, the number of zombies had reached critical mass. Within minutes the city was being over ran. Building where catching fire, the streets where filled with fleeing people and hordes of zombies. Soon almost even building where being over ran by zombies. Somehow the sound of rushing water blocked all of the noise.

Jill let the hot water cascade down her body. Taking her time and enjoying the feeling of slowly washing herself. In the halls of her apartment zombies finally broke in. Small groups started slamming against each door. A few groups where either let in by people who didn't understand what was going on or the zombies broke down their doors.

After ten minutes Jill exited the shower. She smiled as she started drying off. She heard banging at her door. She sighed, as she wonder who it could be. She wrapped the small white towel around her and decided to see it was. As rounded the corner as suddenly the door to her apartment was broken down. Jill froze in horror as a large group of zombies slowly moved towards her.

Jill's eyes went wide as her jaw dropped. The only through in her mind was how, how was this happening. She didn't have time to think as the zombies out stretched their arms and moaned towards her. Jill slowly stepped back, looking for a way out. Luckily she kept the window to the fire escape opened. She completely forgot her state of dress as she rushed towards the window.

She thought she made it as she got out the window. Then she felt it, suddenly tag of her towel. She looked back and was in horror as a single zombie had grabbed the hem of her towel. She tried to break free but the zombie's grip was to strong, worse still more zombies where walking towards the window. She redoubled her affects but it was no use. She had no choice she abandoned the towel and raced down the fire escape.

Once on the ground, she heard the screams and sirens.

"How !" Shouted Jill, as she wondered how the city fell apart so fast. She took several deep breath, trying to calm down. Suddenly she felt a chill and looked down.

Her eyes went wide again, as she realized she was completely naked.
