Chapter 6
by zewesman
“Wait, you answered my thoughts. How did you do that?!” asked a worried Chris.
A Secret School Society
“I am a telepath,” the woman told Chris.
“Telepath...that’s mind reading, right?” asked Chris.
“Yes,” chuckled the redhead, “I also have telekinetic powers. My powers are quite literally mind over matter!” joked the woman. Chris did let out a little chuckle at that dad joke, or in this case, mom joke.
“So uh, I’m a mutant then? And you are ok with this, Mr. Samuels?” asked the young man. His principal smiled at him before he answered.
“Of course, Chris. Afterall, Jean said it earlier, us mutants need to stick together,” he told his student. “I’ve seen first hand what happens to mutants that do not get proper training. You are a good kid, Chris, and I don’t want you to end up on The Raft or hunted down by SHIELD or The Avengers,” finished Mr. Samuels. Chris was a little apprehensive after hearing some of those names Mr. Samuels listed off. Jean could see the fear in Chris’ eyes and decided to quickly take control of the situation.
“Chris, it is ok,” Jean started. “I don’t think we’ve been properly introduced. I am Jean Grey, of Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. I am here to officially invite you to join us, where you’ll be around other mutants and learn how to control your powers while also getting a standard education. While with us, you will be protected from any person or groups that would try to harm you, that I can guarantee,” assured Jean.
“That I can vouch for,” Mr. Samuels jumped in. “The X-Men exist to protect both mutants and humans from all mutant threats and any other threats. You’ll be in good hands. Go on, son, take your next step in your life and become an even better person than you’d ever be by staying here,” encouraged Mr. Samuels.
“I...I don’t know. This is all so much. Like, this morning I was just a regular guy, and now you two are telling me I could be hunted down by a bunch of superhero groups!” a worried Chris said.
“No, no, no. They won’t hunt you down. We actually have a good relationship with the Avengers. We’ve both assisted each other over the years. And I can promise you that, if for any reason, SHIELD or any of those paramilitary organizations were to capture you, Scott would bring the full **** of the X-Men down on that group. He is very passionate about mutant freedom and persecution. He’ll keep you safe,” Jean assured him. “I’ll keep you safe,” finished Jean.
Chris just stood there, pondering about all the information that had been presented to him. Jean and Mr. Samuels had opened him up to a whole new world. A world of heroes and villains. Of fate and destiny. He had a choice to make, one that would decide the rest of his life: Did he want to stick his head in the sand and live a normal life? Or did he want to take the chance and the risk that was presented before him and live a life full of adventures and danger. Chris had the chance to live out every young boy’s childhood fantasy. But was he actually ready to go through with it now that the opportunity has presented itself? Chris took a deep breath before he answered.
“I’ll do it,” Chris told the group, much to their delight. Jean even rushed over to give him a hug.
“I’m glad you chose to join us!” she said with a big smile. Mr. Samuels put a hand on Chris’ left shoulder before he spoke.
“I’m proud of you, son. You made the right choice. Now, you and Jean go talk to your parents so they can sign off on your transfer,” he told Chris.
“I will, sir,” nodded Chris. “I uh, do have one question for you before we leave, sir,” Chris told his principal.
“Let me guess, you want to know my mutant power?” Chris nodded. “Haha, it is nothing as fancy as Miss Grey’s here. I have natural night vision,” he told his student. Chris stood there for a few seconds as he processed that information.
“Wait...what? Night vision? That’s all?” asked the confused young man. Both Jean and Mr. Samuels gave out a laugh at Chris’ reaction.
“Yes, Chris, that’s my power,” confirmed Mr. Samuels.
“Not all powers are glamorous or powerful or awesome,” Jean told him. “Sometimes, your mutant powers can be rather mundane, Like Markus’ night vision. But others…” Jean stopped for a second as it seemed like she recalled something before continuing, “others may have debilitating mutations that make their lives hard to fit in with humans,” she told Chris.
“I see. I figured they’d all be awesome, but I guess it makes sense there’d be some duds or even some bad ones in there,” Chris concluded.
“No! There are no bad mutations!” Jean firmly told him. “Each mutation is unique, and may have challenges, but it is a part of you and something that should be accepted and celebrated,” Jean told Chris.
“I uh...yeah I guess I worded that wrong. Nobody should feel bad for what they are,” realized Chris. Jean and Mr. Samuels let out a smile when they heard Chris say that.
“Looks like you learned your first lesson as a mutant, Chris,” Mr. Samuels told him.
“Yes. We must accept what we are, and help those who are struggling. Only by helping lift each other up, can we be accepted as a people and work with humans,” Jean told her newest student. “Now, shall we go meet your parents?” she asked.
“Yeah, let’s go. Hopefully we can convince them to let me go,” Chris told Jean.
“Oh, I’m sure they will. I have a few tricks up my sleeve to convince them to let you come with me,” she told him.
“And if all else fails, you can just mind control them!” laughed Chris. Jean, however, did not laugh.
“Please don’t joke about that, Chris. I took an oath to not use my powers to **** others to do something against their will. Only that way can telepaths not be persecuted by both humans and mutants,” Jean explained to Chris.
“Oh yeah...that makes sense,” agreed Chris. “I...I’m sorry I said that,” apologized Chris.
“Apology accepted,” Jean said with a big smile. “Now, let’s go to the parking lot. I’m sure you’ll like my car,” Jean told him. Chris motioned for Jean to lead the way, which she graciously took. She left the office with Chris slightly behind her. This allowed Chris to watch the sway of her hips as her ass looked good in the mom jeans she wore. Chris could not help but wonder what that ass would look like with his cock between those cheeks. The sudden slam of a door snapped Chris back to reality.
“Oh, we’re here,” was all he said as he walked through the doors to the parking lot outside the school. That is where he saw it, a convertible that Jean was heading right to. Chris never had the chance to ride in a convertible but now he was able to live out a dream. The car was painted dark red with two white stripes that went down the middle of the car. The seat layout was a little weird, he thought, since it had three seats up front and two seats in the back. Normally, the three seats were in the back, but who was he to judge?
“Here it is, our ride!” Jean said happily. Chris could not help but run his hand along the hood of the car, which sent a chill down his spine.
“Damn! I wouldn't think you would own a ride like this!” uttered Chris, still in awe of the sweet ride. Jean let out a little laugh before she responded.
“Oh, no. This is not my car, it is Scott’s, my husband’s precious baby,” Jean told the young teen. “Well for now at least,” giggled Jean. God damn. This Scott guy is lucky as hell! What I wouldn’t give to have a redhead hottie like Jean in my bed every night. thought Chris as he got into the passenger’s side seat of the car while Jean got behind the wheel.
“Now, let’s go talk to your parents!” Jean said with a cheery voice as the two left the parking lot of Chris’ school.
