Chapter 3 by HiBeGi HiBeGi

How shall the battle start?

A Search for a Mysterious Warrior Goes Successfully

On an island that mostly consisted of cliff tops and caves tunneling through them, a woman with fair skin and brown hair that was kept in a bun could be seen swinging around a sword that glowed a bright yellow and hummed with every movement she made. She was of average height and build and wore a completely white outfit, with the exception of her boots, belt, and arm bands, one attached to her wrist on her left arm and the other on her bicep. This was Rey Skywalker, who, while not a true member of the Skywalker family, does continue the legacy of the bloodline and the people who were the closest thing to a family to her. Rey was training, keeping her skills sharp even in a time of peace. The island she was training on was secluded for the most part, with the exception of the Lanai that lived on it, which never seemed to leave the place. This was perfect; it meant Rey could be alone, honing in on her scenes and the **** at the same time.

Rey performed a spinning swing with her light saber, which caused her to face the part of the cliff that pointed toward the ocean. This enabled the Jedi warrior to notice something in the distance—a figure racing across the sea....racing toward the island. As it got closer, Rey got a better look at who was approaching the island. It was a young woman, around the same age, possibly a year or two younger than Rey was. She had dark skin and hair, which was kept short. She had beautiful blue eyes, similar to the clothes she was wearing, which seemed to be made for colder climates since it had fur on parts of it. But the most important thing to note, was her method of transportation. It was something Rey had never seen in her life; the stranger seemed to be riding on a ball of air. After a few minutes, the woman arrives at the island, the ball of air dissipating as soon as she reached the shoreline, the stranger planting her feet in the ground right next to the dinghy that Rey had used to reach the island. The woman was now standing beneath the cliff face that Rey was looking down on, and when she saw Rey, she smiled. It wasn't a malicious or sadistic smile, but instead a friendly one.

The woman then suddenly sprang into the air, racing up the cliffside and going over it, even getting high enough that she was above Rey. The cliff had been at least nine meters tall, and that woman had just effortlessly shot over it like she was a rocket. Rey watched as the dark-skinned woman flipped through the air before landing on the ground a meter away from where Rey stood. "Hello there, and who may you be?" Rey greeted, sensing no ill intent from the woman standing across from her.

"Hello there, the names Korra!" With a wink and a wave, the woman responded. Hailing from the Southern Water Tribe, Korra is the current Avatar and master of all four elements: water, earth, fire, and air. "And you must be the mysterious warrior who lives on this island."

"Well, I won't say I live here. I've only been here for what I believe to have been a month." Rey clarified as she turned off her lightsaber. "Oh, and most people call me Rey." The Jedi added on. It was nice to engage in a conversation again. The Lanai on the island aren't the most talkative; in fact, they might actually dislike her. "May I ask why you've come here? Was it just to say hello?" Rey jokingly questioned

Korra smirked slightly at Rey's joke, "Nah, I'm here for something a bit more exciting." The Avatar began to get into a fighting stance before explaining herself, "They said that to really complete my training, I need to beat a powerful opponent. And who better than a Jedi?" Rey starred back at Korra, huffing slightly in annoyance but still remaining joyful nonetheless. "So, I challenge you, Jedi Rey!" Korra announced, her declaration echoing across the island, much to the Ladians' annoyance.

Rey smirked before getting into the sixth form of lightsaber combat, Niman, "Who would I be to deny you?" Rey consented. The two women let the wind blow against them for a bit, they simply faced one another and listened to the sound of the waves hitting the shores and ladians working down below. The two then rushed forward, both poised to strike.

Which warrior will land their attack first?
