A Salon

Ashley, formerly Ash, walked out of Nora's Department store in a bit of a daze, his faithful Pikachu and Hypno by his side.

Perhaps it was the influence of the Attract perfume, or all the hypnosis, but Ashley didn't struggle or protest when Hypno spotted a beauty salon and dragged him to it. Aimee's Hair and Nails, by the sign.

"Hello!" A young woman with purple hair in an undercut perked up. "How can I help you today?"

"I-I have a date. Tonight. I want to look good." Ashley slowly stammered out, struggling to believe what he was saying.

"Say no more, you're come to the right place." Aimee saw in this girl's hesitation a shyness and lack of confidence, and resolved to take extra special care of this one. "Now, we have a range of options from full waxing and spa to a quick touch-up." A brief examination showed that her new customer had short, dirty and ragged nails, and woefully messy and short hair. Clearly some extensions would be needed, and probably nail enhancements. She saw the girl had no makeup either.

"Why don't you take a look at out price ranges, and I'll make you beautiful within your budget."

"... Okay."
