"Earth to Liz?" She spoke up, getting my attention and waving her green, webbed fingers in front of my face. "Huh? Oh I...zoned out again, sorry." I said and gave a weak laugh. Despite how close we were, I haven't told her yet that I was a male before my mutation, or at least that I was born a male. No one here knows that. Well, except for Professor Xavier. He seemed really accepting actually but... I'm just too afraid of what anyone else would think that I haven't told anyone else.

"Were you scared? When your...you know, powers first happened?" I asked Sandra as we kept walking. "Well, they saved me from drowning, so... I guess I was scared until I realized I wasn't dying." She said after thinking for a bit.

"No I mean like..." I started. "Oh. You mean when people saw me?" She finished, understanding. "Not really, I grew up in a pretty Mutant heavy kinda place. When it happened, I just thought like...'finally!'" she exclaimed. That was another thing I liked her, she always seemed so happy.

"Sandra, I have something to tell you-" I finally **** myself to admit to her, although in my rush I'm not too sure which secret will surface first.

"Ladies, shouldn't you be in class?" Professor Jubilation Lee asked. "Sorry, Jubilee. We'll be off." Sandra apologized and we heard her chuckle from being called her codename.
