A Quiz Show

You and Doe reach the dining hall, panting but just in the nick of the time. You're greeted once again by Claire who hands you an envelope which contains your next task.

Doe squeezes close to you so she can read it as you do.

"Your next task," the note begins, "is to get to know your partner intimately." Intimately is written in italics. "You have until 6:00pm to do so, then you must return to the auditorium so we can see how you perform."

"Get to know each other intimately." You repeat aloud.

Doe turns to you. "Seems all so cryptic, doesn't it?"

"Yeah." You say, looking at her. Then you suddenly snap your fingers, "I've got it!"

Doe smiles at you, coming to same the conclusion.

"It's a test!" You say.

"They're going to expect us to take intimately as meaning sex, but I'll bet you anything it's going to be some kind of quiz show type of thing." Doe responds, finishing your thought for you.

"Half the tasks have already gotten us to know each other in some sort of sexual way." You continue for her. "So that's got to be it."

You smile at her. "6:00. That gives us two hours. What do you want to do?"

"I'm starving." Doe responds. "Let's go get something to eat and we can start getting to know as much about each other's lives as we can. And maybe if we have time, we can get to know each more intimately in the other sense." She says with a wink.
