A Police Officer

You are a police officer. You figure that with your mind reading and altering abilities you could do some good in the world and have some fun at the same time. You have been patrol officer since you graduated from college many years ago. Though with your your ability you could have been a detective or even the chief by now you have decided to maintain the lowly rank a patrol officer. Just to keep things easier. That old saying 'With great power came great responsibility...' was true and you really did not want more of it if you could help it. It was not a problem but you also did not want to deal with people getting suspicious of your abilities too. It was tiring being you sometimes.

A little red Mercedes swerves in front of you patrol car snapping you from your thoughts. "Fuck!" you curse slamming on your brakes to avoid rear ending the German car. A beat later you hit your overhead red and blues. It takes the Benz a lot longer than you would have liked but it finally pulls over. You park behind it behind getting out.

There were two occupants in the Mercedes. A woman and a man from what you could see. As you step closer to the car you could start reading thoughts. The man was named Henry, he was in his 30s and was a little freaked about being pulled over it was his first time. The woman was in her 40s and was named Jasmine she was feeling annoyed. Thankfully they were not armed or wanted to shoot you.

As you get up the driver's window it rolls down.
