A Peaceful Date and A Loud Interuption

"So, where exactly are we going this date?", I ask Sayaka as we walk through the halls.

"We're heading to the fifth floor! I've got a special little treat for you", she smirks.

I'm happy to be going on this date with Sayaka. But, I'm pretty sure Makoto has feelings for her. I've lost a lot of friends in the past due to their crush wanting me instead of them. I really don't wanna lose Makoto. But, it's only one little date. And it's more like two friends hanging out. Yeah, that's all it is.

"It's nice of you to be worried about your friend", Sayaka says, taking me out of my thoughts, "But, I already talked to Makoto about this"

"Really? Wait, hold on, how'd you know I was worried about Makoto?", I ask.

"Because I'm psychic", Sayaka says with an extremely serious look on her face.

.....Should have seen that coming.

"Not falling for it this time", I glare at her.

"You're no fun!", she pouts before she starts giggling, "But, Makoto's the one who suggested I ask you out. He thought I would get along well with you"

"And what do you think?", I ask with a smirk on my face.

"That he may in fact be correct", Sayaka smiles cutely, "But that remains to be seen"

Makoto Naegi, you sir, are the true, Ultimate Wingman.

We begin climbing up the flights of stairs that lead to the top floor of the school. After climbing the many, many, many, many, many steps I was completely worn out.

"Why.....didn't they....build a....damn elevator", I pant as I reach the 5th floor.

"Oh, stop whining you big baby", Sayaka laughs.

"Aren't you even slightly tired?", I groan.

"I'm an idol, remember? It will take a lot more then a few flights of stairs to tire me out", Sayaka smirks.

Either you are inhuman or I'm out of shape. I'm really hoping it's the not the latter.

Once I'm done recovering, Sayaka takes my hand and leads me to a large iron door.

"I take it this is the place?", I ask with a curious look on my face.

"Trust me, you'll love this! Makoto suggested the place", Sayaka explains with an excited look in her eyes.

You really went above and beyond didn't you, Makoto? I will definitely have to thank you for setting this whole thing up.

We push the door open and find a giant indoor garden. There are flowers and trees of all different types, a multitude of fruits and vegetables, a chicken coop and.....A GIANT PLANT IN THE CENTER OF THE GARDEN.

I stare at the giant flower in both awe and horror.

"The hell is that?!", I exclaim.

"I believe that's the final project for the Ultimate Gardener", Sayaka laughs, "Are you afraid of plants or something, John?"

"Only the ones that literally look like they could eat me whole", I say while still staring at the giant plant.

Sayaka squeezes my hand and smiles sweetly, "Hey, don't worry, I won't let the big bad plant get you"

"I feel like you're patronizing me...", I say.

"Of Course not!", she says in a mocking tone as she drags me away from the plant.

She leads me to an area covered with an assortment of beautiful flowers.

She sighs happily, "This place is absolutely perfect!"

I smile at her, "What exactly do you have for this date?"

"I just wanna walk and get to know you better. How about we play a game? We each take turns asking each other questions? That wat we would both learn more about each other!", Sayaka suggests.

"Sounds good to me! Who's going first?", I ask.

"I think you just did", Sayaka giggles, "So that means it's my turn. Hmmm let's see. Oh I know! What's your family like?"

I scratch the back of my head, "Pretty average to be honest. It's usually just me, my dad and my little sister, Nae. My mom is always out on business trips, so I don't see her often. She does try to call me often though. My dad tries his hardest to make up for her absence. He does whatever it takes to make me and Nae happy. To me, he's the ultimate Dad! And Nae is the Ultimate Pain! She's only 2 years younger than me but she acts like a spoiled brat most of the time. She steals my stuff, embarrasses me infront of all my friends and is a snitch! But, I'd be lying if I said I didn't love her more than anything in the world"

"Awww, your family sounds really nice. I hope can meet Nae someday!", Sayaka smiles.

"Well, I'm sure she would love to meet you. You're her idol. She's gonna freak out when I tell her about our date", I chuckle.

"So it's my turn now. What's it like being an idol?", I ask.

She tells me about all the hard work that she and her group have to do for every performance. She also goes into detail about her group members. Talking about how close they are together, the rivalries between each other and the groups strength as a whole. She came here to become an even better idol so that she can lead her group.

"My turn again! Okay, um", her face turns red,"Are you single?"

My eyes widen before I start laughing, "Now I see why you wanted to play this game! Yes, I am single. I broke up with my last girlfriend a week before I came to Hope's Peak"

"Awww, I'm sorry to hear that", Sayaka frowns.

"Don't be! She was a complete control freak! I was basically a ****!", I laugh loudly, causing Sayaka to giggle.

"How about you? Are you single? I'd imagine a girl like you would have a super handsome boyfriend or something!", I smirk.

"Actually, I'm currently single", Sayaka says.

"I am shocked! Way hasn't some guy asked a beautiful girl like you out?", I ask as we stop walking.

Sayaka drops to the grass and laughs, "Its not your turn! It's mine!"

I can't help but laugh as I sit down next to her.

"Okay, so, do you have anyone you are interested in?", Sayaka says as she slightly leans towards me.

I lean towards her, "Maybe, there are these two girls I can't get out of my head no matter what H do. I guess I could say I'm interested in them"

"Who are they?!", she asks as her face gets redder.

"It's not you turn, Ms. Maizono. But I have to know, are you interested in anyone?", I continue to lean forward.

"Actually, yeah. In fact, Im looking at him right now", she says as the distance between our faces becomes less and less.

We both close our eyes and just when our lips are about to meet, the iron door to the garden swings open.

"SAYAKA MAIZONO!!! IBUKI HAS FOUND YOU!!!", we hear a loud female voice yell.

We both jump and begin looking around. Suddenly we see a girl come running straight for us.

"MAIZONO!!!", she yells as she reaches us, "IBUKI CHALLENGES YOU!!!"

This girl is interesting to say the less. She has black hair with some it dyed white, blue and pink. She also has intense pink eyes and a few piercings.

Sayaka stares at this girl in disbelief, "Um, can I help you?"

"You're the one who's going to to need help once Ibuki is done with you!", the girl, I'm assuming her name is Ibuki, yells.

"W-Who the heck are you anyway?" Sayaka asks.

"I am Ibuki Mioda, the Ultimate Musician! And I'm here to destroy you, Sayaka Maizono", Ibuki says with intense anger and hatred in her eyes.

To think, just a few seconds ago I was about to kiss Sayaka. Curse you, Ibuki Mioda!
