A Nun

You tell the girls it was a nun. They keep silent and don't react. So you continue. It was the night just after you were confirmed to be the next king and you were released from your oaths of chastity. You were at the monastery packing your belongings and ready to go back home. A home you've haven't been to since you were seven.

At that time, nuns had come by the monastery to visit. They had arrived several days before news of your brother and father's deaths. Most of them were young girls who had either been sent by their families to become nuns or willingly chose to wear the clothe. You never bothered to find out what their individual reasons though. Humble and pretty looking young girls. Some were around your age, some much, much younger. They were lead by older nuns of course.

"So you seduced and bedded one of the nuns?" Dorothye asks wide-eyed. You tell her yes and ask to be allowed to continue.

The very night before you had to leave for home, you are awakened by a shake of your bed. Drowsily you open your eyes and try to focus your vision. Someone had lit a candle in your room or brought one in but there was definitely someone sitting on you bed beside you. It was a nun, your eyes told you. Her back was turned to you.

"A congratulations to the new king." She says without revealing her face. But you note her voice.
