A Notebook

Inside the box was a notebook, alongside a loose-leaf note on top of it.

"Hm?" he asked. "What is this?"

He took them out of the box and looked at the notebook. It seemed like an average, spiral notebook, though pocket-sized. As he flicked through the pages, nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

"Are people sending me school supplies? Why?" he asked. He picked up the letter that was lying on top of it and investigated it.

I understand you went through a lot of hardships to get up to this point. Being accused of ****, getting sent to another school against your will, leading the Phantom Thieves to take down people, almost dying, it's a lot to handle. So, I've decided to send over magical items for you to enjoy the rest of your life.

The first item that I've sent you is called the Clothing Journal. Simply write down the first and last name of anyone who you know or remember. However, at the very least, you should know their face. If you write down a name of someone who you don't actually know, there will be no effect.

Then, write down the outfit you want them to wear. By default, that outfit will be the only thing your target wears, and they will never change into any other kind of clothes. Also by default, you will the the only one aware of the change, and others will think it's normal, or they've always dressed like that. By adding specifics, you could change things such as what circumstances they can wear it in, whether the target as well as others are aware of it, parts that the person is allowed to customize, among other things. Below are a few examples of how it would be used.

John Doe, Suit and Tie.

This example would cause John Doe to wear only a suit and tie, and never change into any other kind of clothes. He is allowed to wear different types of suits and ties, as well as allowed to take off his clothes to bathe and such, but he will never wear anything that is not a suit and tie. Others will see it as a normal occurrence.

Jane Janeson, Sexy Bunny Outfit. Specifics: Work Clothes, Customers Aware.

This example would cause Jane Janeson to wear a sexy bunny outfit as her work clothes. She will be free to wear any clothes at any other time, but when she's working, she will always wear her bunny outfit. She will see it as a uniform. Customers will see it and comment on it like they would under no influence, but anyone who isn't a customer will see it as a standard work clothes.

When writing down the outfit, try to be as detailed as you can. If you are not specific enough, the notebook will try its best to fill the gaps, but there is no guarantee that it will come out exactly as you envisioned.

I recommend you use a pencil or erasable pen, as erasing the entry will undo it and put it back to normal. A strikethrough will have the same effect, however, there is a limited amount of space in the journal. When you write multiple conflicting entries, the entry that is further in the notebook will override anything before.

You will be the only person who will be able to use this notebook, as well as the only person able to read it. Anyone who looks inside will see a mock notebook full of school notes.

Hmm... this was definitely stupid. Magic? No way it would work. Well... to be fair... there was some weird "magic" going on with the Metaverse and the other stuff... but this had to be some kind of prank. But he was actually going to go out and see his friends right after this in a few hours, so he figured, why not put something in there for fun?
